Potters Receptions

I have booked my wedding at Potters for October 2021. I haven't even had my wedding there yet but have to leave a review. The staff and customer service is phenomenal. Every email I have sent is responded to within a day or two, and with the current climate of lockdowns the venue have been nothing but helpful for my every anxiety ridden question. If you are looking for a venue that is not only stunning but will take care of you, you have to go to Potters. They have taken so much stress off wedding planning and the way that they work with couples is outstanding, they definitely put their couples first. I can't wait to have my wedding! I also want to acknowledge that I went to Potters with my future mother in law a few months ago and just popped in without a proper booking. Despite already having paid the staff actually left a couple they were talking to to quickly come and say hello and remembered my name and my partners name. Just shows how much they value their customers and couples. Amazing!

The moment we walked into the chapel at Potters and my eyes started to tear up we knew this venue was the perfect venue for our wedding. Potters is truly the most beautiful, welcoming, stunning venue! We couldn't have had a better day thanks to the amazing and friendly staff there. Debbie and Mandy made us feel so comfortable every step of the way and the planning process was so easy thanks to them. All our guests couldn't praise Potters enough and they all had such a wonderful time thanks to the staff there. Nobody left hungry thanks to the amazing food that was served, everything ran so smoothly with no issues and everyone had such a great time. Honestly thank you so much for all your help it was the most perfect day and we couldn't recommend you guys more!

The perfect venue!

We had our wedding here at potters on Saturday after a lockdown they where so accommodating with a new date and throughout the process leading up to the big day.

On the day of the wedding everything we had wanted had come to fruition thanks to the amazing team here at potters.

Ellie did such an awesome effort running the night and ensured everything went ahead without any faults she was also so accommodating to ensure everything went as planned.

The team at Potters were AMAZING from day 1. They were super helpful in the months leading up to our wedding day - and especially so on the day itself. The venue is stunning. Having a purpose built venue with no need for travel on the day (even after the night is over) is a game changer. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

Absolutely stunning venue, very friendly and professional staff who are quick to reply to every email and enquiry and go out of their way to assist in any way they can. We loved having Potters as our venue for our wedding!

Potter's was everything we'd ever dreamed off for our wedding. From the moment we drove in we fell in love and knew that it was the place for us to say our vows. The venue itself is absolutely divine and the staff were absolutely amazing and more than happy to accommodate any requests we had. Potter's made our journey of planning a wedding a breeze. I wish we could get married every year just so that we could relive the day all over again. Thank you so much Deb and team, will definetly be recommending to anyone I know who is getting married x

We had our wedding at Potters Receptions on Friday 19th of march 2021. Even though we planned a wedding during a pandemic the team at potters took every ounce of stress off our shoulders and was an absolute pleasure to deal with! We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our day! The venue is breath-taking! The food and service on the day of our wedding was phenomenal and the team did an amazing job at making sure we were comfortable, happy and that everything ran smoothly. So a HUGE thank you to Potters amazing team!

My sister got married on the 13th of May at Potter Receptions. Where do I start, the Venue is gorgeous and so are the people. We had a blast. The attention to detail was impeccable. The rooms were cosy. The service was very personalised.
Our family and friends had a wonderful time. I couldn't thank the management and staff enough for making our experience at Potters a wonderful one.

Our son got married at Potters recently and everything ran like clockwork. What a beautiful environment. Great food and such friendly and helpful staff.

Absolute Perfection!

We celebrated our Daughter’s Wedding on the 8th of May 2021 at Potters, Warrandyte.
Even before the Wedding day, the staff from reception were polite, helpful and nothing was ever an issue. They had the answers to any question put to them.

From our arrival on the Wedding Day the staff were attentive, professional and non-invasive. They were always there to assist but never in the way. They assisted throughout the night with anything that was requested of them without hesitation.

The Bridal Retreat was exceptional prior to and after the Ceremony. The Grounds and facilities are second to none.

The food was outstanding and very generously proportioned with more than enough to fill the hungriest of guests.

The Venue is spacious with 5 star service and settings.

I cannot recommend this Venue Highly Enough.

My Daughter and I had the most perfect and Awesome day ever!

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT! DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM DEB! JUST WAITING FOR A CALL!

When we initially went to Potters, we loved the venue and upon our consultation Ellie went through the packages and we discussed the specifics. Verbally, we agreed on certain things to do with our package and were given pamphlets on pricing (for example; antipasto pricing, NO FEE on corkage to bring bottles of spirits to serve behind the bar).

We then decided to return to Potters to show the venue off to our parents. Another Ellie showed us around, and confirmed the specifics of our package (including the NO FEE on corkage to bring bottles of spirits to serve behind the bar + many other things).

Our final job was to compromise with Deb the director on a few things before signing the contract. Deb contacted us via email and attempted to address our concerns. However, after receiving her email back we were still left confused and the concerns we had were still unresolved.

We contacted Deb to discuss the email. Deb showed no compassion for our frustration as she refused to accept the NO FEE on corkage and a few others things. EVEN THOUGH TWO OF HER STAFF MEMBERS PROMISED NO EXTRA FEES.

Deb is unprofessional, rude and we are truly disappointed that she had no guts to pick up the phone to tell us that "POTTERS WASN'T FOR US! " Instead she sent us a measly little email to break the news. Truly we believe that her staff made so many errors that to avoid wearing the costs she decided to refuse our service.

We are disgraced and appalled with how a director could treat potential wedding clients who are spending $$$$ of dollars at her reception, and not even want to resolve our issues in person and say it to our faces!

On a final note. In the words of Deb the director- we wish you "a prosperous life".

My wife (Mel) and I, got married here on Friday 23.4.21

From the beginning, we felt at ease with the team at Potters. Nothing seemed to big of a deal or a hassle for us, they are quick and responsive to emails and calls, and always have your best interest at heart.

You would think that being the area that Potters is located in would only be suited to people with deep pockets, but we surprising found it so very affordable and well worth what we were getting for our wedding.

Highly highly recommend Potters for your wedding, us and our guests had the best time. Some of the guests' commented on how delicious the food was, how beautiful the decor was and the overall friendliness of the staff.

We really cannot thank one staff member more than any others as they were all bloody awesome, but Cass you stood out that little bit more than anyone else! We honestly love you so much, keep that smile on show because it makes such a difference to the clients coming through the door!

Would recommend as a wedding location

We couldn't be more happy with the service we got from the Potters team! We had the absolute best day and were so lucky to be able to get married here in March. The Potters team were super helpful, professional, fun and thought of everything, they even made sure we had some delicious wedding cake, dessert and Champagne waiting in our room for us after the reception! Their wisteria courtyard was so beautiful to get married under and all of our guest continue to rave about how nice Potters was and how great the food was:). Thanks heaps Potters Team xxxx

Wow wow wow. Potters staff were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food, OMG was sensational, very extensive menu with heaps of alcohol choice too.
Well feed and well watered guests are happy guests.

We are so excited to have booked our wedding at Potters. We looked at 5 other venues but kept coming back to Potters. Sarah who showed us throught the property was just lovely and really took time to go through all the packages with us which we didn't find at other venues. We are all signed up and now looking forward to planning our day.

From the get go we knew that Potters had ticked all our boxes and more even though it was the first venue we visited. Pre-wedding, they were quick to respond to all our questions via email and left no questions unanswered. We got married on their Wisteria draped courtyard and it made for a magical scene. They have a very friendly, helpful and professional team that were constantly reassuring us that everything was taken care - which made for a very smooth, memorable and fun wedding. Initially we had some concerns with their menu from previous feedback, but they delivered on the day with their Moroccan Chicken for entree, Char-grilled Eye Fillet alternating with the Glazed Salmon Fillet for mains and Petite Fours for dessert - the eye-fillet being the best I've evert tasted! Have recommended all my girlfriends to get married here!

Amazing venue and staff prepared to go the extra yard to ensure everything goes smoothly right through to the end.

Potters were amazing! Me and my now husband got married here, they were great from start to finish. Easy to communicate with and no issues at all. Absolutely loved getting married here. Highly recommend!
