Port of Echuca Discovery Centre

Lovely morning on the paddle steamer. Make sure you have lunch at a pub and visit the Holden museum too!

A great place to visit and take a ride on a paddle steemer very good only wish we had more time

Used to be a trading port, brings you back in time for a glimpse of what it might have been in the old days.

Very enjoyable place. We took a tour & the tour guide was very good. Her knowledge and ability to articulate & share her knowledge made the tour very interesting & worthwhile. Highly recommend it to all visitors to this centre.

Echuca, excellent place to visit. Always gravitate to the Port.always take a trip up the river, taste of local wine etc.like to help the local economy. Family live here, therefore visit yearly at least.but always enjoy all that Echuca has to offer.

Port of echuca is excellent for family or just a couple. It has everything for everyone, paddle steamers to cruise on horse drawn carriages, history of holden cars, history museum and beer shed and motor museum plus after dark ghost tours.

Excellent, lovely look back at the old paddle steamer days, some interesting working old shops and stores, old pubs, with modern menus, delightful converted wine tasting bar, helpful staff, horse and carriage rides, information center and gift shops. Shady green garden area. Plenty parking all a stones throw from accommodation and shopping with plenty of cafes.

This place was absolutely awesome and it also provided me with heaps of knowledge about Colonial Victoria and the paddle steamers back in the 1800's.

A great place and the 2 staff where working there at the time were great. If you are in Echuca then you have to visit the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre.

Fascinating place, I highly recommend visiting if you are interested in history. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Looking forward to visiting again.

It was a really great experience to learn the history of the town I grew up. I didn't end up taking the guided tour but I will next time I go back. They had lot to look at, interactive stuff for the kids, path leading out to under and over the docks (lovely veiws!).
