Port Campbell Hotel reviews
61What an absolute gem of a place. Warm fire, great service and the best pub meal I have ever eaten. Not just your run of the mill pub fare. I was genuinely (pleasantly) surprised by the variety on the menu and the quality of the food. A real five star find
Friendly and pretty fast service, good prices and very good food. Having more than one dessert option would have been good, but still great pub fare. Didn’t have the schnitzel as I opted for a nice reef and beef but it looked massive.
Went here for dinner last night. Everyone was lovely and welcoming. Food was great, would recommend!
Cozy warm room. Doesn't have ensuites in the rooms but they did place us directly across the halls/passageway from bathroom and toilet facilities which were all able to be locked for privacy. All staff were very pleasant and helpful welcoming both in the restaurant on the premises, and when we arrived to enquire about prices. There is a great meal choice with very generous helpings with excellent presentation of meals. The prices are very fair compared to other places in the same town. Enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend your hotel to others. Thank you.
A pub that doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. Yummy big-value meals at reasonable prices and a friendly vibe for families and travelers like us. Nothing special on the decor front, but a great feed nonetheless
Great pub food- 400gm medium rare steak (very tender) salad and chips-$38- lamb shanks x2 $32
Good generous portions and served within 30mins despite the busy night. Very friendly staff, clearly run off their feet, but happy. Country pub feel in the main bar with fire place - overall very good experience
My partner and I spent 4 days travelling the Great Ocean Road, and this was by far the best meal! A classic pub meal that filled every inch of the plate, absolutely value for money. Lovely service and a very welcoming environment to dine in. If you’re travelling the Great Ocean Road, this is a must!
Still In here eating and had to leave a review. Food is incredible. Staff are incredible. Menu is perfect. Portions are perfect.
Thank you port Campbell!
Lovely friendly pub with great vibes! Had the chicken schnitzel which was great. Worth a visit if you feel like a pub feed or a nice cold drink
The staff here were very welcoming and accomidating, the food was lovely and they had great vegan options
Had a good meal,
Comfortable,
friendly staff,
A bit pricey.
Steak - really is 400gms and cooked perfectly and tender.
Chicken schnitzel was also big and tender
Only negative, sides not listed for the steak, - was offered chips & salad - (salad) covered in mayo (?) dressing - which I HATE, and could have asked for it to be left off (had it been on the MENU) - very unprofessional
People have dietary restriction / allergies
chips were fantastic
Update your menu, and list things properly
My only negative!
Will eat here again - next time we pass through
Good pub cold beer and limited food. Great local vibe; being a tourist area prices are a bit on the high side. Overall worth a visit.
From food to the hotel rooms everything is excellent. Will be back again. Food is awesome. Just the order taker lady could serve bit better but understand they buzy and under pressure. Must try there Fire Ball homly brewed.
The Hotel has a great vibe, ecclectic decor and very friendly staff. The food was creative and the menu has something for every taste bud and dietary preference.
William the publican has a great gig going on.
Everyone who travels The Great Ocean Road should experience the Portcampbell hotel. 10/10

Great pub food.
We were there on a very busy night on Australia day weekend.
The service was quick and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Great service & great local knowledge on where to see the best local sites, loved the chilli mussels
This place was fantastic! Staff were very friendly, such a clean old style pub and the food was incredible. Highly recommend and will definitely be back
Food was amazing, good size meals and variety. Was a massive bonus having kids toys and play area outside.
Port Cambell Hotel has this rustic charm. Established in the 1800s it is a place one has to visit and have a meal. Given the region I ordered the seafood linguine and Salt pepper squid and my wife ordered her favourite chicken schnitzel. The food was great washed down with local craft beer.
If I had to critique the establishment, it would have to be the dinner time kitchen opening at 545pm. Having said that a brilliant place to have a good meal whilst being on the shipwreck coast.
