Pomonal Estate reviews
58Disappointed, booking ahead to enable a smooth attendance was wasted as booking was not entered in the book. Service was. ‘ shove them on that table’, waited 1/2 hr no one came to take a drink order, table after us was served first. Sadly we left very disappointed with no drink and no food in sight!
A truly awesome meal in fabulous surroundings. This was our third visit and definitely not our last! The menu and undeniable quality of the meals draws us back; or is it the dedicated staff, the amazing local wines, beers and ciders, or is it the ambience of the uninterrupted views of the Grampians. I strongly suggest you visit Pomonal Estate and enjoy the experience.
Lovely setting, friendly service and great options for beer, cider and wine tasting. The cheese board was beautiful!
Went to Pomonal Estate for lunch on Easter Sunday and had a lovely time. All the staff were extremely friendly with excellent service, and the food and wine was fantastic. We didn't have to wait long at all! The dogs also had a great time! I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in the area. 10/10
The people, the food and most importantly the drink (wine, beer and cider) are all perfect. Highly recommend putting Pomonal Estate at the top of your to do list.
Can’t be more happy. Very nice and chill place to try some good wines here with a fantastic view of Grampian. The service is good, they are very kind that even we arrive late and they are not serving food any more, they still are happy to serve us some fries.
Four of us enjoyed a delightful lunch today. Sharing plates are generous & include a delicious good variety. (We shared one each couple. Highly recommend the wine paddle with paired chocolates! Mmmmm sooo good. Lovely venue to.
We made a visit to have some lunch and try some wine, and so glad we did. The beautifully positioned restaurant allows you to sit inside or relax outside under the shade of their big umbrellas, everywhere gives great views of the Grampians. Meals are delicious and use lots local grown produce, and they have the best kids meal options I have ever seen. Wine and beer tasting paddles are perfect with your meal, I will make this a must have experience on every visit to Halls Gap.
A great place to spend quality time with friends and family. Situated at a place with a stunning view. Offers great food, and an impressive selection of wines too! Definitely would visit again.
Beautiful place. The food was excellent, better than many up market cafe, winery in Melbourne. Lovely staff. And we loved the dog. Definitely recommend to everyone.
Great spot to complete your trip to the Grampians region. Had a late lunch on the deck and the summer breeze and view only made the extraordinary food and wine taste better. Very warm welcome from the owner
One of the best wineries I've seen in the amount they can offer.
Had a tasting paddle of both wine and a selection off beers, coders and a ginerger.
There's heaps of room for children to play and keep busy. Such a great place for families and large groups. Could of stayed for hours.
Just popped in to taste the wines and have a snack, and were absolutely delighted. Nice wines and local produce, super friendly —can’t go wrong.
We had a fantastic family lunch complemented by great beer/cider tasting paddle and wine tasting paddle. Highly recommend a visit here.
Stayed here for 3 nights and it was such an amazing experience! Spotlessly clean and so tastefully decorated. We had such a nice time for a family of six. It was such a big space for us and we enjoyed the views from the outdoor patio and even lit up the bonfire during one chilly night. Highly recommended.
We had lunch at Pomonal Estate two days running. The establishment, staff, food, drinks and location are all five star and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are in the area, do yourself a favour and call in.
Try a tasting platter, a light lunch or afternoon tea. Ciders, wines, ales and ginger beer all ready to be tried.
Really nice environment. My partner and I tried the wine tasting platter and the food platter and both were amazing. Definitely would come back.
Must visit! Service, food, drinks — outstanding! We’ll be back! Everything is locally sourced and beautiful views.
My husband and I stopped in for coffee and ended up staying for the better part of the day! Coffee was fantastic, my husband loved the tasting paddle while I enjoyed my Shiraz. Perfect with the vegan platter we shared for a light lunch. We left with a growler of Pobblebonk Pomonal Pale Ale and loved it so much, we had to stop off for a refill the next day before we headed home. Beautiful views, immaculate presentation, friendly, knowledgable staff.we honestly can't wait to come back!
