I went there with friends for lunch and wine tasting, it was a beautiful experience, amazing wine, incredible food, great place and super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Great food, delicious wines, brilliant service, warm and welcoming atmosphere. What's not to love about this place? I'd heard a lot about Polperro before dining here. A local tour bus driver recommended Polperro as THE place to eat on the Peninsula. He's not far off, although there is a lot of worthy competition. Polperro is situated in a very picturesque part of Red Hill. As with many of the winery restaurants in that area, it has magnificent views, which were sadly spoiled by the terrible weather that enveloped the area on the day we visited. No matter. We were warmly welcomed and seated at a very comfortable table. Polperro offers a degustation menu only, which you can match with wines. I'd recommend that you do so, if only because it means you will get dinner and show with one of the most entertaining sommeliers you will ever have the pleasure to meet. Polperro is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The food and wine match is perfect. Serves are generous. Trust me, you are sated at the end of lunch here (and I believe that Polperro is open only for lunch). I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the food. It is prepared with impeccable technique in all areas of flavour and presentation. Not one dish disappointed. This is right up there with the very best the Peninsula has to offer. As I said, it's not cheap, but it offers good value for what you get. If you want a special occasion lunch, this is the place.

We had an outstanding meal. All the dishes were delicious, interesting and different from anything one could cook at home. They were beautifully presented. The service was informative and enjoyable. The questions we had were answered and always with a smile. The perfect experience for a special occaision.

The setting of the restaurant was lovely, overlooking the vineyards, and the ambience was very classy. We enjoyed a wonderful lunchtime meal, with first class service and inventive food. I would highly recommend for a special occasion.

We had the loveliest experience and enjoyed a Sunday lunch. The food was amazing! The service was impeccable. The staff are amazing and so knowledgeable and has personality. A special shout out to Mark who looked after us, made us laugh and made the birthday lunch super memorable!

Was so looking forward to the wine tasting but so disappointed with the lack of service and enthusiasm. Really did feel like we where an inconvenience. The experience could have and should have been better. Bought a few wines but if the experience was better would have bought more.

One of the worst in Mornington Peninsula. The wines are over priced, charges $15 for tasting of 5 wines, and they pour a few tiny little drops. 2 out of the 5 wines are not even pleasant. All the wines are over powering in their mineriality. Do not go there, there are much better wineries in the region. Save your $15 Bux!

I went to the cellar door. Awesome wine. Really good knowledgeable staff. The restaurant is still buzzing with people at 3pm. I must come back and try the food here.

Incredible views and always an amazing menu! Highly recommend a visit whether it's a cosy winter's day inside by the fire or a sunny day on the deck looking across the winery all the way to the horizon. Delicious local produce always presented in an interesting way. Surely one of the best wineries in Victoria.

We had a beautiful lunch with matching wines at Polperro overlooking the vineyard. Service was wonderful, we loved chatting to Mark through each dish of the set menu.

We shared a beautiful meal for lunch yesterday with good friends. We had been before and wanted our friends to experience the sublime pleasure of eating local produce, fresh Australian produce at it’s best. It did not disappoint. Staff were fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. My favourite dish wStheir take on a pizza with heirloom tomatoes but it is really hard to pin down what was better than the others! Thank you.

The scenery is stunning! Would definitely recommend a wine on the lawn. We did the 5 course lunch and found the service was great, quality of food was lovely, but the portion sizes were really small and left us hungry at the end, not great when you’re spending $130pp excluding drinks. We fine dine a lot and so we recognise value for money and unfortunately we didn’t find this was met. I did mention this at the end of our meal, which we hope is helpful for future menu planning.

We had lunch on 1-1-22 and we loved it!
This place would have to be one our favourite wineries! And we have been to many!
Staff are awesome, great atmosphere over looking the winery.

We had dinner here last Saturday evening and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. First of all the setting is stunning. But the service, food and wine took it to another level! The waiting staff were attentive, friendly, informative and down to earth. The innovative, beautifully presented dishes full of wonderful flavours made for an unforgettable evening!

From start to finish, from service to food and wine, everything was faultless.
