Great venue, beautify in every aspect, and the staff are brilliant.
Had the pleasure of attending my nephew's wedding here, and I can not praise the venue enough.
As a photographer and videographer I frequent many venues, and this one I hold in the highest regard.

One of the best small and intimate venues. Beautiful gardens outside food absolutely delicious. Perfect inside for a perfect wedding and the accommodation is so good and close. In my opinion a perfect venue for a perfect wedding for around 120 people.

We are doing our wedding here! Absolutely stunning and dreamy Wedding Reception. The gardens and layout of this venue is magnificent. But more than this, the staff are fantastic, all are so nice and accommodating of your requests.

My husband and I were married here in March 2020. It was at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in Vic and unfortunately the new restrictions forced us to have to cancel our original plans 4 days out from the big day. It was an incredibly heartbreaking decision but the wonderful team at Poet's Lane were with us all the way and supported us with going through with the (albeit smaller) wedding ceremony in their beautiful gardens. The ceremony was everything we could've hoped for, the gazebo and the surroundings were stunning. Everything, despite the last minute changes, ran so smoothly and Fiona (our wedding coordinator) remained so calm and supportive throughout everything. We cannot wait to renew our vows here when everything settles and look forward to reliving the experience again with the rest of our family and friends.

I would highly recommend couples searching for their perfect wedding venue to check out this gem! Everything about this venue is amazing including the staffing, management, food, facilities etc. I thoroughly enjoy providing my DJ / MC Services at this venue and am very much looking forward to returning.

I could not recommend Poet's Lane more highly! It is an absolute stunning venue that offers so many beautiful facilities. The gardens surrounding the venue are perfect for your photos. We have supplied our indoor and outdoor Photobooth options at this venue and love doing so. We very much look forward to returning very soon.

First class venue. Superb gardens. Excellent reception place for a wedding. Food was delicious.

Nice venue. Very green scenery surrounding and provides a down to earth feeling. Set upon the Mount Dandenong.

Great place for receptions. Only pitfall is the desert bar on the dancefloor interrupting the dancing.

Beautiful location. Went there for a friend's wedding. Quiet and peaceful. Word of warning though: no taxis or ride sharing after a certain time.

My new Wife and I booked in this venue for our Wedding in early February.
It's an absolutely exquisite venue with beautiful scenery both inside and outside the venue. We had our wedding outside which was a lovely choice. Their onsite accommodation was super handy as it made it very easy to just go and relax post wedding without having to travel anywhere. We were impressed as well with the food options (We had an all Vegan menu and chose the Vegetable Lasagne which we highly recommended, all our Guests Loved it)
Overall was a great Venue, Great experience and we couldn't recommended it more highly.

Poet's Lane is breathtakingly beautiful! From the first time we inspected the venue for our spring wedding, my husband and I fell in love with it. The beautiful stained glass windows, the high ceilings in the Chapel simply took our breath away. The garden gazebo was an absolutely beautiful area for our photographs. Our reception was so magical. The lights, the decor, the flowers were absolutely stunning. The food! Oh my gosh, the food! We had the pleasure of being able to sample our menu at a food tasting at Poet's Lane and we must say the food was delicious. Chef Jarrod's food on our wedding day was beyond amazing, absolutely delicious and plentiful! Our guests especially loved our dessert buffet! The staff at Poet's Lane have been very helpful from the day we enquired in regards to the venue. Courtney, Tess, Fiona, Cherie, Gracie thank you for all your help along the way, you all made it such an easy process. Last but not least, Peta! We love you! Thank you so much for taking all the trouble to have those endless conversations, emails and requests from us to make our day happen. You made the whole process so easy which made us feel less anxious and at home! You did an absolutely amazing job of coordinating and being MC for our big day, all while making sure the day went off without a hitch. Wonderful venue and staff. We recently had our wedding here and the staff had been very accommodating and helpful.

Our coordinator Fiona was very professional and efficient. We were very well fed from canapé time to end of reception, the staff even continually brought out food to the bridal party when we were taking photos in the gardens during canapé time.

Speaking of the gardens, it was beautiful during early November. 10/10 would recommend Poet’s Lane for your wedding and good luck.

Definitely one of the best venues I've gone to for a Wedding.

Poet's Lane Reception was splendid and very picturesque. The staff was very happy to accommodate all of our requests. The food was great and the wedding went on without a problem. The package we got also include DJ, MC, and wedding coordinator. Their on-site accommodation also made it easy for our international guests who have travelled a long way to attend our special day.

I attended a wedding on Sunday 7 July at Poet's Lane and would just like to say a big thank you for such a wonderful experience.
I have been an Event / Wedding Coordinator for 15+ years and it was so lovely to be on the other side for a change!
Your venue is the perfect setting for a Winter wedding and you provide an amazing service.
I would like to highlight and thank Peta specifically. I very much understand what goes into organising and running a wedding and it was inspiring to watch her gently juggle everything seamlessly to make sure Jordan and Roshan's day went perfectly. Thanks again and well done!

We recently got married at Poets Lane, and we overall had a fantastic experience. We have had nothing but rave responses from our guests who had the best time at the wedding, saying the venue, staff, food and drinks were awesome. Our wedding coordinator Tessa was so lovely and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We had a small hiccup a week before the wedding which Tessa dealt with beautifully and made me feel so much better about the situation- which meant I had zero stresses on the day.

We chose this venue due to it's rave reviews, and also the beautiful gardens and it didn't disappoint! I highly recommend Poets Lane for your wedding.
