Fantastic venue, nothing to fault. Stayed in the accommodation which was very comfy.
Highly recommend as a venue although you'll be paying for it from deep pockets if your the host!
Best being a freeholder here!

Lovely place and ambience. They've got bar and dj as well. Food was ok. However, it's quite a drive to get up there, no wifi in a remote area where mobile data is unavailable, no parent room for nappy change, no designated wait staff for an area, so when we need something they're all halfway across the room, the kids meal is simply fries

We stayed sat poets lane recently. Lovely staff throught weddi g and reception.

However post wedding we were jot happy with the service. Heat lamps out in bathroom. Fa in bathroom didn't work toilet was quite rocky and bed was very uncomfortable for the price paid tonstay the evening.

We had our tasting night for an upcoming wedding on Saturday and Poets Lane. It's been a year now since we chose this venue for our youngest sons big day. What a great team here. The tasting night was brilliant and confirmed what we first thought when we chose this venue.

3. Soooo clean. We viewed a lot of places in the ranges. It's a difficult area to keep a high standard of cleanliness. Poets Lane is exceptional. Their attention to detail is showcased on how clean the venue is.

We are so pleased that we have chosen this venue for our special event.

Whilst the day is still to take place, we have every confidence in the team, to ensure the day is perfect.

Very beautiful outdoor area. The greenery is breathtaking. Indoor reception is also beautiful. However, I can't say much about the food. I've given 4 stars because I had a bad experience with the food. It just didn't have a great taste.

Beautiful venue for a wedding/function. Lovely chapel and gardens, spacious reception area with attentive staff. Guests can stay onsite which is very convenient. Rooms basic but can fit family of 4 fine for a short stay. Venue located just over 1hr from Melbourne CBD. 1hr 20mins by train to Belgrave station. Note: lack of uber/didi drivers in Belgrave so may not be an option as we experienced.

Poet's Lane was amazing, the place is an amazing venue gorgeous gardens, beautiful chapel and reception area. I am so glad we booked our wedding there. It is not only the venue that is amazing but the staff, they are truly fantastic. When we booked with Poet's Lane I had so many questions and every time I emailed they where quick to respond and assure me over everything. We had Fiona as our wedding coordinator on the day and I was so relaxed and confident in her. She is a terrific person and a very efficient coordinator and everything ran so smoothly. I cannot thank her enough as well as all the staff, they just made our day/night all the better.

A great venue, staff are helpful and friendly. If it ends up raining the wedding can be changed from the outside gazebo to a chapel.

I also really appreciate that the staff are always nice to us. Sometimes (at other venues) the staff can be impatient, but here at Poet's Lane they're always professional and kind.

What a magical venue for a wedding! The chapel, the gardens and surrounds, the receptions spaces-indoors and out and the food and drink service.thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful wedding of my nephew and his gorgeous wife!

Had a wedding for a family member here it was beautiful and the food was amazing.however.the rooms were not, the doonas where not thick they where cold, the pull out bed was horrible! The blankets where itchy and uncomfortable.

Great wedding venue however DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff charged a $75 late checkout fee (for leaving 40 minutes late) despite zero instructions on checkout time, or any effort to see if we were ready to checkout of our room. The room was also infected with bugs throughout, including in the shower and in the bed. Overall costed $240 to stay in a bug infected room with no working heater. Couldn’t recommend more to stay away from this accommodation, and to book an airbnb close by.

Nice place tucked away in the Dandenongs, was here for my brothers Wedding. Venue & catering where fantastic.

We had our wedding at Poet's Lane last weekend; in short it was amazing. The chapel, garden, and reception room are stunning, and when decorated are nothing short of magical. The reception room could seat all of our 150 guests but still feel intimate. And most importantly, all of the staff there were fantastic. They were incredibly professional and the entire wedding was run to perfection. We are so thankful to Fiona, Peta, Naomi and the rest of team for making our day so special. Right from day one this venue stood out above all others.

They were also able to do the entire wedding with a vegan menu (organising a tasting day just for us) and were really respectful and accommodating for our guests allergies (including someone with quite sensitive coeliac)

We could not recommend Poet's more highly to anyone!

Was looking forward to having a magical wedding at Poets Lane but unfortunately as the contract doesn't allow cancellation only postponement, the available dates were too far away. Not happy about losing our deposit

Beautiful venue, some limited (but nice) accomodation on site and the wedding contact made my sister-in-law's wedding easy enough to plan from interstate

Poets Lane have helped us create the wedding of our dreams! The gardens, reception area and ceremony hall are equally jaw droppingly beautiful. It was the second venue that we visited and we instantly fell in love.
From day 1, they were very professional and invested in our wedding, answering every single one of our questions. On the big day, our wedding coordinator peta ensured everything was running smoothly so we could enjoy the process. Peta was warm, experienced and friendly from the get go. They were happy to accommodate special requirements and had very appropriate cultural sensitivity.
Through covid, they really showed how exceptional they were. The manager Tess was happy to accommodate us and there were zero additional fees charged with postponing. She tailored a flexible contract to us. The team at poets lane were all genuinely empathetic about our postponement and very excited for us on the new date.
On the day, we had an absolute ball. I'm so excited to see our wedding photos!
A massive thank you to all of the staff at Poets Lane for giving us the wedding of our dreams. I can't tell you how happy I am.

I don't know where to begin with how amazing Poet's Lane Reception was for our wedding! The moment we first laid eyes on the gardens and the chapel, we immediately knew this was the place. But, little did we know that this reception hall was more than just a venue, their staff was beyond exceptional. Working with the venue manager Tessa through all the changes Covid had made to our wedding felt like a very effortless and professional experience. When the big day was finally around the corner, we were assigned an event coordinator Peta. Peta is such a wonderful person and her experience in managing a wedding and helping us make changes really made the day feel like it flowed without a single problem. Peta really took the stress out of out wedding day and not only that, she looked after us through the whole process. The whole team at the venue, from Peta, to her waiters, barpersons and to the chef's were amazing.

Thank you for everything you have done for us! You made our big day the most magical day we have ever had so far!
