Playshed Cafe

This place is great if you have 2 small kids as the whole place is toddler friendly, so it’s ideal for my 3 year old and 18 month old. The food is also delicious, so it’s a great place for some lunch. Can get busy on weekdays, but that’s just testament to how good it is

We ordered some home delivered kids picnic boxes during lockdown. I was very impressed that they were able to deliver at lunch time the next day, with very little notice. The boxes were beautifully presented and the contents were fresh and delicious. The kids were delighted.

The stuff were soo nice especially this old lady I thought she was mean at first but no she was very nice, I could even smell the cleaning products, good place for toddlers to play

Great for small children. It was quite busy so impossible to get a table to sit and have a coffee. My 10 month old struggled to crawl around and play as he kept crawling into all the parents legs standing around. Great for him to burn off some energy though! The price was quite a bit more compared to other play centres I have been too. I went right when it opened and it smelt clean like disinfectant but the equipment was a bit grubby.

Best play centre for young ones. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing and well priced.

Such a wonderful place for preschoolers. Love the fact that you can see your kids from the cafe area. Coffee was amazing and truly love the Chicken Foccacia! Highly recommend to anyone with preschoolers.

I love this place! It’s the best for my 2yr old to run free without any big kids pushing them over. The food is scrumptious. This is our favourite play centre in Melbourne.plus Rita and all her staff are extremely professional and caring to everyone.

It's my first time there today, there's a stuff there is rude, the way she talks just no respect feeling at all.
I won't be there anymore.

We were very well looked after by the team, they took a genuine interest in us and our son who's birthday it was!

Entry prices are affordable, great variety of equipment for all ages. Had a pleasant time today with our granddaughter, also a bonus to see staff doing all they can to keep covid safe (cleaning equipment and help you with any requests).

I would give it 4 stars for the range of toys kids can play with and the actual soft play itself but 3 stars overall because we hired a party room and you only get 1.5 hours which is not alot when you need to setup the room plus people could be running late by then you have an hour or less in the room to eat and pack up which is not worth 200 dollars. The food was good but let down by not being fresh for example sandwich and foccacia platter the bread was a bit hard /stale and when the "hot" chips came out the were barely warm. I can understand they would have been busy so have to prepare food in advance however from a customer point of view you want to get the most of what you pay for and i feel like it was a simple fix just have fresh stock and bring hot food out on time. Also we had to pack up and be out by 12 because someone booked "straight after us" but the next booking was at 2 so it was upsetting seeing the room sit there for the next 2 hours empty. I feel like an extra hour would have made a huge difference! Still giving them a whole hour to clean the room. Plus if any of the kids you booked for do not show up you get nothing back. Some playcentres will give you free return cards in place of those kids who didn't show up. I would've given it 5 stars if they gave 2.5 hours for party and food was fresh and they were able to at least give us even 2 free return entry cards for those kids that did not turn up last minute. It's a great place for kids to play but not that great to hold a party in my opinion unless you don't mind having a quick minimal party.

Just found out about this place and I love it and so does my toddler! I feel so safe with her there as everything is padded and safe. The lady I think who is the owner is lovely too and so welcoming. It will be definitely a weekly thing for us to do:)

An amazing place to take my toddler and meet up with friends to have a play date, coffee and something to eat, always clean and makes me feel at ease.best of all one happy boy at the end of it always!

My son had his 3rd birthday here and he had the most wonderful birthday ever! All the kids enjoyed while us parents watch them while catching up with each other. The staff were all accommodating and very easy to work with. This place is highly recommended!

Really nice place for little kids - need to put hats on doorways though as alot of areas are open e.g. Bathrooms, sitting area, and flimsy gate to party rooms which my child tried to climb and knocked over

The best play centre for toddlers. It's safe. You can see you children from the cafe. It's super clean. The staff walk around cleaning constantly. Food and coffee is delicious. I couldn't pick a fault.my 3.5yr old and 2yr old say it's the best place in the world. Haha.

We had our nephews 1st birthday celebration today 23/01/20 from 5PM to 8PM, at Playshed Cafe in Thomastown. I just wanted to say thank you so much to the Staff that were working tonight. Although there were minor delays on our behalf, the staff never ceased to continue delivering exceptional service. We all had a great time! Thank you again.

My kids loved it, so much space for them to run around and alot to play with. More happy that you are able to see the kids playing while sitting in the cafe/sitting area. It's clean and the stuff are great.

First time for us in this playcentre. The play area is fantastic very big and with so many safe things to play with. However took us 30 min for some donuts. But the biggest issue it's the lack of a gate between the cafè area and the play zone, and wide open that takes to the toilets.
Also no food is allowed including the children.means If you want give your baby a piece of fresh fruit from home or anything you are not allowed.
A part from these issues very good place to let your kids burn out some energy!

Def room for improvements.

I highly recommend Playshed. So professional, understanding and attentive. Kids Absolutely love it here. You can see your child while you sit and have a coffee, everything is at eye level. No hidden areas for children to fall down or go down massive slides accidentally. Keep up the good work!
