Playshed Cafe

My 2.5yo loves it, he loves all the cars and that he can run around and not get stuck if he gets too high up. Plus the food is great and the staff are lovely. It's our favourite place to go with our friends with younger kids too.

Absolutely love this play centre. Been coming here since my daughter was 6 months old and she is now 21 months, she loves it as much as she did when we started coming.

Highly recommend for babies / kids under 3 years old as it’s so safe and you don’t have to worry about older boisterous kids running through BBC and knocking over your baby.

The setup is clean, lots of great play areas absolutely equipment.

The cafe is also great - good coffee and some healthy food options like freshly made eggs etc for both adults and kids.

Pricing is great too and free entry to adults supervising.

Playshed cafe is the way to go! It is the best place to take your little youngsters for a play, it is a very safe and clean environment and has amazing food and good prices.the staff are very kind and have amazing working experience, my kids enjoyed themselves and i did to.the coffees are to die for they are up there with the best coffees i have ever had.i really recommend people to take there kids to playshed cafe, it will be a core memory of there childhood

This is the perfect place for preschool children’s parties. It has fun, age-appropriate activities for children from 0 to 6. The party food is great, staff are friendly and it’s a really nice atmosphere for families.

Our little guy loves it. And you can see him all the time. No need to enter the play area to know where he is.

Won’t be returning! I packed real food (sandwiches) for my baby and they refused to let me feed her. No external food in the centre they say except baby food. Well this is how I choose to feed my baby and she has allergies. It’s easier for me to bring my own food to avoid anything getting contaminated. Absolutely ridiculous.

My LO got a fun time here. The place and the toilet are clean. Staff are friendly. Small indoor playground but lovely.

I’ve taken my kids here a handful of times and they do enjoy themselves but this is the only good thing I can say about this place. Firstly, staff are extremely rude, it’s almost every time I’ve been here with my kids, it’s like the staff aren’t happy to be there and they don’t like their job.
Secondly, I don’t know how equipment/toys are cleaned or if they’re cleaned at all, but 9/10 times my kids are sick in the days following a visit. Just from this alone, we won’t be back.

A fun afternoon spoiled by some horrible customer service.
Before entering I had a take away coffee in my hand was nearly finished, was asked to finish it before entering. I said ok that’s fine not a big deal. Whilst trying to pay before entering, the lady with glasses making coffees said “I definitely cannot let her enter in with that coffee”, I replied saying yes I’ll finish the rest quickly and I will throw it away and mentioned again that it’s not a big deal.

Proceeded to spend money on food and drinks, my daughter asked if she can come back and have more chips in between her playing. My daughter went back to the table to get more chips, she came to me and was crying saying the chips are gone. I went up to the counter asking where the chips went.

The lady with the glasses said she took it away as it had a wet wipe placed on top of it, which I said no it didn’t I placed it on the side. She said she would go and the check cameras, I told her to check the cameras, which after accusing me of lying, she then offered to make chips again, whilst pointing to the amount of toasties we had left. I said I do not care about the toasties, it was the chips we were leaving for the kids to finish.

She proceeded to mention that all day kids have been placing serviettes and wipes on food and parents asking for new food to be made, which she mentioned that another kid could have possibly placed a wipe on it, such a far fetched and fanciful scenario which makes the whole experience so much more frustrating. Like I mentioned to her, the fact that she accused me of lying and threatened to check the cameras is very disappointing customer service.

I can see reviews of similar nature, which makes me think that someone of that character and quality of customer service should definitely not be working in that industry, especially when it concerns kids.

Will definitely not be returning and will be passing on my experience to other friends and family member

Absolutely love this place! So age appropriate for my two kids. We go literally once a week, had my daughters 2nd bday party there three weeks ago, everything was amazing
The staff are amazing, so welcoming, Rita and the girls are so friendly, we love seeing and chatting with them. Cafe is great, food is great.

Play centre itself was fabbo! Great for the little ones with lots to explore and play with. Cafe coffee was yum but the food was pretty gross. Hot dogs were microwaved cold in the middle, and pizza was hard as a rock.

Love this play centre.service is awesome, food is great, kids are safe.some play equipment needs replacing but everything else is fantastic!

We have been to so many places for indoor play across Melbourne but this one is just perfect for kids under 5 years. Everything so safe and perfectly designed for their ages. I can supervise stress free and don’t need to continually follow my children to avoid them getting hurt by older children playing around them. It is beautifully maintained and the staff is so warm and welcoming.

Amazing place for under 6. Took my niece and she had an amazing time! Usually overwhelmed but as children were her age she had AN AMAZIMG TIME!
Friendly and professional staff, reasonable pricing and safe for parents to have a semi-rest as all equipment is designed and safe for the under 6 age group! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Hi loved it! I appreciate places like this because I wanted my 1 year old to be in a safe space where there were not older kids around that weren't careful. As it happens in other places.so by having this place I didn't need to be worry about it. Just babies, toddlers and young children.

The staff is pretty clear with the rules of the cafe, they are friendly and kind. And they care about keeping the playground clean and sanitized which is so important.

The only thing I would say wasn't great were the chips. Food could improve tbh. The rest good on you! Got a beautiful place

Perfect for children, even babies who aren't walking. Basically, everything was soft, colourful, and entertaining. Service was lovely and a great variety of food for kids and adults

Be prepared to only pay cash. Apparently they only accept cash after a certain time. They also don't take Amex and still refuse cash when you only have Amex card available
ETA: My review is not untrue. Yes I have an issue because staff were rude. Please tell me what in my review is untrue and I will be happy to amend. Also staff member was OK to initially take cash for a purchase, but then 20 mins later wouldn't

Playshed is a wonderful play centre for children 6 and under. I was happy to see healthier food options (much better than other play centres I’ve been too) the play area is clean and perfect for little explorers.
I would choose Playshed as a first option if traveling there wasn’t such a hassle, pay them a visit if your thinking about it, it’s a lovely day out for you and your little ones.

Very polite and professional staff, great food variety and a very clean environment. This play center is large and amazing for toddlers, my 1 yr old loved it! Also very refreshing seeing the staff walk around and clean tables and equipment, highly recommend:)

This was the best way to have a stress free party for my little one. The staff were super attentive, the food was spot on and the kids absolutely loved the play area. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.
