Food is less than average, nothing special at all.
Helpful staff and speedy service though.

A lovely restaurant with delicious food and service. Our first visit here but definitely won’t be our last. Worth the drive from Mornington. See you again.

Had a great experience here on a busy night with a packed restaurant (1 x 20 person table and every other table full) Food was served hot and was delicious, attentive waiting staff and a lovely experience at the end with the owner.

What we ordered was what were given. We ask with chicken and was not their and when we ask they said what u ordered were given.we also ask for hot was given not even miled. Not recommended.

If you’re after tasty Mexican food in a super cute setting then give Pj’s Mexican Kitchen in Mitcham a try, you won’t be disappointed. The staff are efficient and lovely, as well as the owner who was extremely hospitable.

The best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, nothing else will ever compare.
The food is beyond perfection and the owner is a real credit to the experience because he makes us feel like family. He is genuinely excited to meet people and is really involved, he honestly makes me so happy to be there. All the staff are exceptionally welcoming, and the chef is outstanding!
The rich fresh ingredients, always arrives hot and tastes phenomenal. Favourites are the Chilli Con Carne, the Fajitas with the sizzle plate, and the creamy scallop Del Mar. OMG and the Dulce Mousse for dessert.
I just love the atmosphere, the decor, the food, the people, actually is my favourite place to eat. Thanks for always being accommodating to us and nice to everyone so we like to invite and recommend PJs in Mitcham to all our family and friends.

Placed order, waited and hour for delivery, got the wrong order, phoned the owner of the business to explain but he did not care or wasn't interested in fixing the problem. Have been a long term customer but will never recommend this restraunt to anyone and will never return. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of service and care.

Best Mexican restaurant in Mitcham - the mixed fajitas Nachos and Enchiladas were excellent. Terrific margaritas, kids meals and thanks for the strawberry tequila on the way out

I have been a regular customer for almost 5 years and PJs has come to be my happy place. The service is always super friendly, attentive and the staff go above and beyond what you would expect from a typical Mexican restaurant. Not to mention the food is also excellent.
Can’t visit without ordering the flautas and a margarita on the rocks.

Went to dinner with residents from disability accommodation. Food was excellent and service with a smile underneath the mask. Staff were attentive and accommodating and food was excellent generous serving sizes.

Super nice and friendly owner! We ordered 2 beef burritos for takeaway and it took only 10 minutes. Amazing food and great portion.

Mitcham has a couple of gems but none shine as bright as PJ’s. Absolutely delicious and the service from Kourosh and his team is fantastic. The Combination Especial is probably the best $26 you will spend, and you cannot go past a serve or two of Taquitos for the table. Make sure someone orders Fajitas just so you can get a taste of the perfectly charred beef and chicken? Best served with a carafe of Sangria! Thanks PJ’s for helping to get us through lockdown 6.1
