Great Mexican food, warm service and the ambience was cozy cantina style. We didn’t have a reservation on a Friday night, which I would recommend next time, and they still seated the four of us straight away at 6: 30, while the dinner crowd was just getting started. We’ll definitely be back for more.

I'm a regular at PJ''s. We eat here probably once a month. The food is always fabulous and always comes out nice and hot. The staff are always lovely too. And it's usually buzzing with people eating - a great atmosphere. Always a go to when we are longing for mexican!

The food was delicious but it was outshone by the wonderful service. The waiter (we assume also the owner) was fantastic and very accommodating despite us arriving an hour before our scheduled booking and wanting to alter a couple of meals on the menu. Loved the peach tequila shots and the spicy margaritas. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to our next visit!

We love going to PJs for an early family dinner or special event. We’ve been going for 7 years and Karoush and the team are amazing. They remember us as soon as we arrive and even when we call to book. Our kids all call it Karoush’s restaurant rather than PJs because they love to see him! Karoush remembers all of our kids (and there’s been a lot over the years) and even enquires about the older ones at times. We love the food but for us it’s all about how we’re looked after at PJs.
We’re moving interstate and PJs is up there as one of the things we will miss most!

Overpriced tasteless food that left my partner and I with stomach aches. Why is a bean burrito $30 exactly? Cheap ingredients no flavour but charging so much. Not much work went into making it either that was clear as day so it can't be labout costs. Not sure where all the glowing reviews are coming from but this place is a rip off to say the least. With that price tag we were expecting something special but not even close. I'll also add that a burrito from Salsas in the food court is 10 times better than the ones here - fresher and cheaper.

Super expensive and not worth it at all. Bland food with no spices. Beans still had a can taste. I could make better at home and probably should have instead of wasting so much money. Why have a restaurant if no love goes into your food? Tacos also had unidentifiable "meats" in them with yet again no flavour and at $10 a pop. Stop robbing people with your horrible food. It's hard times these days and sometimes people want to treat themselves to night off from cooking and this is what they get - totally ripped off with soggy bland food missing alot of trimmings including spices for crying out loud. Disgusting.

Best Mexican food we've had in 12 years, since moving from California to New Zealand (and now living in Melbourne). The portions were right, flavour was also good. Tip: If the cut of beef in the Beef Colorado had been more marbled/fatty, marinated, seared, then simmered in a Colorado sauce it would have been sublime. As it was, it was a little dry and needed seasoning.

We'll come back, though.

Had an absolutely delightful experience at Pjs Mexican Kitchen Mitcham! The food and the beverages were amazing. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for any occasion, whether it's a business meeting or a family event. The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings!

Incredible service! I believe we were served by the owner, who was so attentive and gave outstanding service the whole night including remembering the orders of 13 people off the top of his head! He was even happy to split the bill for us all at the end, without us having to tell him what we ordered! Fantastic night and food/ drinks were delicious too:)

We love PJ's Mexican kitchen so much we keep coming back. The food is delicious and the the service is second to none! The owner of the business Kourosh is so friendly and welcoming aswell so If your looking for great food and friendly service with attentitive staff that just go that extra mile then you can't go past PJ's for a great night out. Thanks again PJ's we'll definitely see you again soon!

Excellent place! The food and drinks were great, and the service was amazing. I believe we had the owner serve us and he was absolutely fantastic, really went above and beyond, his customer service was outstanding! We will most definitely be back!

The restaurant can get echoey due to the layout and materials of the building, so consider this if you're noise sensitive.

Anyone who thinks this is good Mexican has no idea, waited 40 minutes for this in a quiet restaurant to take away. Total shock horror.

The staff here is amazing like exceptionally amazing. By chance I hit the place twice after kitchen was closed and they prepared food for us despite of that. Taste is great too. Mexican vibes as soon as you enter the place.

Had such a great dinner at PJ’s! The service and the food was amazing, so hard to find good quality Mexican food but this dinner did not disappoint, will definitely be going back soon! Thanks for the great service
