Pizza E Vino

Nice place. Prices are ok. The food was very nice. However, the kitchen needs to be not so tight with their ingredients. I ordered the polo pizza because it was supposed to have sun-dried tomatoes but when it came, it was one piece of tomato torn into about six tiny pieces. Seriously? My friend ordered the pea and asparagus risotto. However, they really need to change the name of that dish to just pea risotto (may contain traces of asparagus). Without exaggeration, my friend and I struggled to find any asparagus in the dish except for two tiniest of pieces. Again, seriously? This was our first time there and that part of High St has many restaurants. Cutting corners is definitely not the best way to encourage repeat business. Chef don't be such a tight arse and you might find the repeat business will pay for itself.

Best pizza in northcote. Perfectly made wood fired pizzas, delicious pastas and great service. Gets packed in the evenings though nice vibe and atmosphere. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Recommend the platters

Arrived to be told that there was no reservation in my name: (but the owner (?) fitted us in and apologised for mix up (not his fault remember) and proceeded to make our dinner a lovely one.that is service.

The dinner was fantastic, great flavour and the portions were fantastic value. PeV deserve and get 5 stars! Definitely be back!

Fantastic atmosphere. Very good food with generous portions. The share platters are excellent value and are a very good size. Highlight dishes include the meatballs, calamari, Balmain bug and prawn risotto. Good wine choices too. Very good personable service as well. Cost was very reasonable overall. It’s a very good place. Recommended.

We get pizzas, pasta sometimes, pretty much every week. We've tried all the pizzas in the area, and Pizza E Vino is the best. Prompt and friendly delivery, always, and the food is fantastic. I hope you never, ever shut down!

My husband and I came back for the arancini balls. Best arancini balls ever. The sharing platter with the seafood was very delicious, just would have been better if the barramundi fish was grilled rather than battered and fried. Besides that everything was just fantastic. Service was great as usual. One of the best places in the area

Enzo and the staff make the best pizza in melbourne. I recommend the P&V with a glass of Sangiovese. However, if you have a group, try the sharing platter for a little taste of everything!

My husband & I eat here every week. We live 2 mins away & after trying every other Italian place on High St Northcote, we only come here now because the food is so fresh & delicious. It’s our go-to place for pizza, pasta & the best lamb chops & calamari in the northern suburbs. Don’t confuse it with the place opposite the Palace Cinema in Westgarth. This is way better with much more generous serves! Service is warm & friendly here always. Enzo, Bella & Georgia are all charming!

Excellent Italian dining, whether eat in or uber out. Lovely rustic, bustling European atmosphere with the kitchen on display. Attentive service and wonderful staff. A regular favourite.

Always amazing food with the best pizza in Melbourne and fantastic service. Why go anywhere else in Northcote?

We ordered three dishes and it was one thumbs up and two thumbs down. The lamb tapas served with bread and it was delicious; flavoursome and meat was tender. The serving size was generous for its price and we really enjoyed it. Being a pretty highly recommended Italian restaurant, we decided to order a buffalo pizza - a simple dish that should stand on its own when prepared with good ingredients. We found it disappointing as it tasted bland and lacked any depth of different ingredients. The third we had was seafood linguine, which was also ho-hum. The seafood serving was generous but there was no aroma/flavour of seafood in the pasta. We were hoping to discover a good spot to be our go-to neighborhood Italian restaurant but this doesn't make the grade.

The food is absolutely great every time. The service is friendly and efficient. Make sure you try the chocolate pizza. Seafood is always fresh.

Everyone should have their favourite Pizza palace. A place that makes it just the way you like it with quality ingredients fresh from the wood fire oven, and once you've had the best nothing else will suffice.
I've been going to Pizza E Vino for 5 years now. Not only because they make the best pizzas in town but also because the customer service warmth and generosity of the people working Pizza E Vino there make me want to spend my money there.don't let this distract you from the fact that the food pyramid is in the shape of a pizza slice and should be consumed on a regular basis.
Try the Jamie Special.you won't be disappointed ;)

Great quality and tasting food. Good value Italian restaurant. We went in a group last time and left it up to Enzo to bring us a variety of foods and it was great.
