Pizza Bar

This place is extremely average. Hard to read menu. Way to many options and half English half Italian, music was far too loud to enjoy a meal and conversation with my family. Prices are also far to high for the quality of food you get. Half full plate of very bland pasta (carbonara) and soggy pizza. I won't be returning to the restaurant.

The only positive points were the staff were very friendly and helpful and the beer was cold.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizza Bar, and I must say that the highlight of my visit was the impeccable service provided by an amazing waitress. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. However, what truly made my visit memorable was the attentive and friendly service provided by our waitress, Emma.

Emma went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was exceptional. Her genuine smile and enthusiasm were infectious, instantly making us feel welcome and appreciated. Not only did she take the time to explain the menu options in detail, but she also recommended some mouthwatering specialties that turned out to be absolute delights. Her genuine passion for her job was evident in every gesture. She didn't just serve food; she curated a dining experience. Her dedication to making us feel special truly elevated our visit and transformed it into a memorable occasion.
Bravo to Emma and the entire team at Pizza Bar for delivering a dining experience that sets the bar high.

What can I say, if you want real pizza you come here, The guy cooking it, he knows what is up, he's the bigish guy with glasses oh and the crust, wowee

Great food and great service, this place will become a firm favourite for all your future pizza’s. But don’t tell everybody, keep it a secret between us. I want to ensure I can get a table

I love the Pizza Bar in Geelong West! I took my friend there and she loved it too! I had my favourite pizza: pulled pork and slaw which was delicious as always. I can’t wait to have a date night there with my husband and newborn!

Quality food, food service and great vibes. For sure get the meat balls and triple cooked chips as sides. Pizza options great with nice base texture.

I called them at 5 o'clock when they opened and I checked with them if I need to make a booking before coming but she said that's fine, no worries and I told her that we are coming and we are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and she said that's ok I will book one table for you and she didn't say anything else when I went there she said she only has the high table with high chairs free for us and one booth which is free until 6: 30, all of that was not mentioned over the phone. Really it bothered how they handled this situation as they should have acted better than that.
Cheese pizza and garlic bread were very good but the chicken pizza and the chips were very regular.

Really nice food.

NO coffee machine sadly.

Got the prawn and pea pizza. Prawns were cut up so I think maybe there was 3 in total. Ridiculous. My son got the Prosciutto with rocket and it came without rocket. It's not rocket science (pun) so not sure why that happened. Pretty soggy too so overall disappointing. Also very expensive ($26.50) each

As a 1st time customer myself and my wife very impressed! A very happy vibe to the restaurant.friendly staff good music and surprised with candles! Was impressed by the menu and a range of pizza ive never seen before! But speedy service and to see the pizza being made on a paddle was truly a wood oven pizza and tasted fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will be going back forsure:)

Was invited to this place for dinner, pizza & pasta. Wasn’t expecting too much from the meal & service but I was totally wrong. Food was good however, the delightful, happy & fun Abbey who looked after us was fantastic. She greeted us & her bubbly personality and extensive knowledge of the menu made it a great experience. I asked her which pasta was her favourite & after taking us through the entire pasta menu we went with her favourite Spaghetti & prawns. Abbey then suggested we must have the Nutella pizza for desert, we ordered take away, drove back to Melbourne and wow was the outcome. Thank you Abbey & yes, see you either Tuesday or Thursday ️ Jon

Had pizzas with the fam Sunday night and it was the worst pizza I have ever had. I added pineapple to the Aussie but it came out undercooked and soggy and watery black underneath! Yes, I should've complained but I'm not one to do this. Kids seemed to like theirs!

We have just had the most incredible pizzas here tonight for our daughters birthday celebration. To top off the amazing pizzas, waiter Abbey was simply amazing - so friendly and genuine. Please ensure she is given plenty of praise for her amazing work. Thank you!

Great food, great service. Would come back. They make Carbonara the original way where it's cooked with egg and lots of Parmesan to make the sauce. The Pumpkin Pizza was also worth the try. Drinks are usually $18.

Good food and really like it. But takeaway service isn’t great. Consistently has been late or it’s been messed up, even when we rock up at the time it tells us to for online orders. No knock on the food at all, but just expect it to come maybe at least half an hour after the expected time on weekends. So that would be great if you could improve on that:)

Pizza Bar never fails to impress, the food is fresh and flavorsome, the service is fun and prompt.

Excellent on all levels! Divine pizzas, fast and efficient yet unobtrusive service, great music and decor. Cannot fault it really. Our new fave ;P. Oh, and I love that I can pre-book my wheelie-walker so I know I can get through between tables - great touch for those of us less able-bodied. THANK YOU!

The food at Pizza Bar took me back to the pre-COVID days when we could travel and enjoy international cuisine from its country of origin. Unlike other Geelong restaurants that boast of an authentic foreign dining experience, the Pizza Bar located at the heart of Pakington Street really fulfils expectations. My husband has previously failed to find an enjoyable calamari dish in Geelong, yet the Pizza Bar has more than impressed him. Perfectly cooked and crisp to perfection, it complimented my daughter’s potato and leek pizza served on one of the most delectable gluten-free bases I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. 5 stars is simply not enough for this restaurant.
