Pipis Kiosk

Extremely disappointed with the customer service here. I walked in to buy a coffee for my girlfriend and I, and while she went to use the bathroom the waiter was rude and stated they had closed and no longer serving anything. (Even though they were still open) he refused to offer us service, opened the door and told us to get out in a very unfriendly manner.

I went back to speak to the manager, I was mocked and ridiculed. On a side note, they were still serving coffees, at the time of speaking to the manager. They didn’t seem to care given they are in a good position at the beach, they do often treat customers poorly. Unfortunately as a local I won’t be returning. Sandbar, down the road offers much better customer service, and pricing is much better.

Fantastic location for a kiosk with views of the bay and perfect to stop in for a coffee if you’re riding or skating without having to take them off! Nice coffee

We ordered large coffees, and thought we paid for large. Only to sit down with small coffee? We asked the staff member who told us to bring them back. Then didn’t change the but passed them to other staff then said we actually paid for small.
Miserable service. Never returning, which is sad as their coffee is quite good

Superb service. Thank you. With kids, babe in highchair. Nothing seemed to be a nuisance. We all loved our late lunch.

Pipis is excellent, and such a hidden gem. Right on the water, incredible seafood, wine and service, we could have stayed there all night. It is such a special spot. Will definitely be back.

I stopped here after a long bike ride and specifically asked for long black in ceramic mug (not take away). Not only they didnt listen, they poured the coffee into the mug telling me that we dont usually so this! Worst cafe ever in melb

Nice place but quite rude… they’re clothing at 5 and with no reason they closed 1h15 before. No explication nothing! That’s very rude for the customers! We were very disappointed.

Went here with my family and we had a pram. They were very accommodating with the pram and put us in a position where the pram wasn't in the way. The food was really fresh and the service was really good.

Didnt like the service from one of the waiters. He looked upset and emotionless, nothing crossed the line but just not in a good vibe.
The lady waitress was lovely and nice.
Food was amazing. Great flavors and plating. Definitely will come again.

Fantastic location right on the beach in Albert Park with views of the bay.
Exceptional food + service with perfectly executed grilled eggplant w smoky yoghurt - finely shaved heirloom tomato + white anchovy - salt cod croquettes + a delish butter lettuce + pickled watermelon rind salad.finesse everywhere including lovely attentive service where yr not just a table number + they are happy to have an informative chat.
All washed down with a lovely Scion rosé based on durif fruit
Hard to find food as good as this for these prices along the scattered beach front diners along the bay!

This restaurant on the beach is such a great place to showcase the dish and seafood offerings. There is an excellent selection of various sized dishes for sharing. The go to choices here are the school prawns, butterflied flathead and the taramasalata.

Only ate off the snacks menu but everything fabulous and beyond expectations. Best Prawns, chips and beer combo ever.

Went last night for dinner. Excellent food, interesting wine list, lovely setting and first class service. Without doubt a new favourite in Melbourne. Highly recommend

Outstanding location, food, and service. We really enjoyed our lunch at Pipis. We were recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint, the cosy restaurant is a place we will be definitely going back.

Myself and a group of friends had dinner at Pipis last night, the food, service and ambience were amazing. Would highly recommend! The eggplant was a stand out!

Planned to have the fish and chips but alas that was only available for takeaway and not in dining. Sommelier was very good in recommending wines for main dishes and dessert. The special Japanese style omelette in teriyaki sauce was light and not overpowered by the teriyaki sauce. The pipi pasta could do with bit more garlic and perhaps some chilli to add more body to the tomato sauce. Great location and amazing beach view.

A sensational new seafood restaurant right on the beachfront. The food is fantastic with great flavors and high quality ingredients. Service is friendly and attentive also. A small place so you will need to book, but definitely worth it.

Had the degustation and it was superb. The flavours were subtle and the Sous Chef is at the top of his game. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. Highly recommended

Another great restaurant in town… amazing food, drinks and great service… food are simply amazing in every way… plus nice view… definitely coming back again

A kiosk offering fish and chips, pastries, coffee at beach-font prices.

The fish and chips package is quite unusual. You get a chunky, brick-like piece of white fish, a little over-cooked, wrapped in a thin crust that breaks into shards - definitely not the usual batter or shaped fried fish. The chips are medium-cut and crispy.

The almond croissant is flattish, soft, with a surprising chocolate filling as well as quite sweet marzipan.
