Pine Grove Hotel

Yesterday I celebrated a special birthday at “The Piney”. Everything was excellent. Sonia & Mitch were looking after our group of 18 and could not have been anymore attentive. Nothing was too hard and always with a smile. All other staff were great as well. All our meals were excellent with everyone commenting on how wonderfull the whole afternoon was. Highly recommend

Perfect weather, perfect setting & perfect food complimented by excellent service - a lovely lunch with family from interstate. Definitely a lovely destination to take people with a broad menu and great seating options suitable for all weather condition.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the Pinegrove hotel, Naomi and the team were awesome and took exceptional care of all 30+ of us. Food was delicious as always, thankyou and see you soon.

A lovely location with plenty of parking. The dining area's are very spacious with comfortable seating.
I have eaten here previously with a 5 star, but today was at best a 4 star. Meals took over 1 hour to arrive on our table of just 2. Had to keep moving the table out of the sun.the white paper table topper was not a great option in direct sunlight due to terrible reflection - may I suggest dark grey to ease the eyes.
The staff were lovely and very attentive. Meals were good, but not a stand out for the price.
We will be back though:)

Thrilled to discover it was steak night tonight! Plus gf calamari was also fabulous. Will be back!

Serge and his family make you feel at home, in a hectic kind of way, with great food, wine and conversation, overlooking the vineyards

We came here on Saturday night for the first time and it was great. The staff were super attentive - kept on checking in to see if we needed another drink or anything else (which was great - I don't like having to try and hail down staff to get another drink, so it was great to see that the staff were paying attention and checking in regularly when our drinks were getting low) and the drinks / food came out quickly which was great, especially for a Saturday night when other places can be slow. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. We will be coming again for sure!

The Pine Grove splits that great line between chill pub atmosphere and restaurant quality food. When coupled with their friendly staff I can highly recommend it.

Really good pub. Great pub grub but also lots of other options and pretty good kids menu. Beer and wine choices not enormous but some real quality options. All the staff super friendly and efficient. Loved it!

Atmosphere is beautiful. Food delicious reasonable price catered for the age care. Relaxing with soft music, still able to talk. Highly recommended

Really tasty food and amazing views. We went on a Sunday at 12.30pm, nice atmosphere where we sat out on the deck at the rear. The waiters did seem quite new to their roles (e.g. Wrong glasses given with our bottle of Prosecco) but nothing major. The main issue was a super long wait for our 4 main meals, waited over an hour and asked several times. This would have been fine if they were proactive in giving us updates, acknowledging the delays etc, but they just seemed a bit clueless. Overall food was nice, but room for improvement with the staff training

The food was good and the atmosphere was great for a Pub.the location is also convenient especially if you're bringing friends from overseas because it's not far from all the touristy places.overall it's a place that I can recommend to my group of friends and to other people

Great atmosphere great staff very friendly booked for 30 people $45 per head good food know where near enough 3 tables 10 people 2 platters cold meats 2 small bowls olives and goats cheese to start 4 pizzas margarita and garlic per table nowhere near enough food for value then to be charge for 35 people that’s fine but a least give me food for 35 people a-shame because most people with me were locals

We have just moved to the area so we were keen to try the Pine Grove. So disappointed in the service and food.
Ridiculously slow service, over an hour wait for food, no communication from wait staff. In the end we left without getting our dumplings as we couldn’t wait any longer.

My Parma had cold chips, limp salad with a random bush leaf in it (what the?)
My wife ordered the Calamari Thai Salad that had no Calamari. In her words, that was an awful salad and she rarely complains.

When we left and paid the bar lady said the tickets went to the wrong place hence the delay, um you could of told us this an hour and a half ago.

Seriously if I could give no stars I would. I don’t think I’ll eat there again.

You need to be better.

Great atmosphere great staff good quality food booking for 30 people
at $45 per head 3 tables 10 people got 2 small platters cold meats goats cheese and small bowl olives 4 pizzas 2 x margarita and 2 x garlic per table way not enough food for 10 people then to be charged for 35 people, shame all the people where local to the area this will mean a lot of lost business.

Small menu but very good variety. Lovely friendly staff. They cater for most dietary requirements. Enjoyable atmosphere

It was a very hot day so indoor seemed closed, but walking through to be seated it was a lovely atmosphere with fireplaces that I'd definitely like to go back and experience on a cooler day. There was two different outdoor seating areas, one that was for drinks and one for food service. There was a walk up bar but also table service when ordering food. Woodfire oven could be seen from seating and these pizzas were amazing, highly recommended! The view of the orchard is lovely, worth the slightly higher prices than a usual pub meal. We had the pizzas to start then schnitzels, burgers and fish & chips. Mains were nice, nothing overly exciting and again, little pricier for soft drinks and food. Wine list is limited but they're partnered with a local winery so the bottle we got was lovely, can't say what it was as it had no label. For the view, local wine & pizza oven I'd recommend.

Never disappoints Pine Grove! Our family favourite go to place for dinner. Only place we have found that offers steak in the kids menu. Other places need to follow suit!

Had a wonderful time at the pine Grove hotel today with three Girl friends.the meal was great very relaxing,

We ordered virgin mojitos and it tasted like water.all of the mains we ordered were excellent.the desserts were average at best.tiramisu was plain and panacotta would have been good if the coulis was left on the side and not drenching the panacotta on top.definitely visit for the mains and nothing else
