Pimm Thai Cafe Kensington

Absolutely loved the food at Pimm Thai Cafe! Everything we ordered was a flavor bomb each bite!

Simply an amazing place to get tasty, delicious food. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a full meal, Pimm provides customers with food to die for at affordable prices. The staff are so kind and make you feel at home. If you don't have a taste you're missing out!

We tried their Thai fried rice, green curry, pad se ew, and Thai tea. Cannot complain about anything! They are all delicious! We only wished that they came in a bigger portion, though.

Been here a few times now, and the food never disappoints - always fresh, and comes out quick.
The staff are also lovely and very accommodating.

A decent suburban Thai that is great value and generous serving sizes. It may not be the greatest Thai in the world but the price point makes it a good option for a quick weeknight meal

Plastic in food:
It breaks my heart to write this review; I’ve been a customer here since they opened, eating once every month. I’ll start by being fair and saying that the the food is usually nice (what you’d expect from your typical local Thai takeout).

However, this is the second time that I’ve found a piece of sharp plastic in my food (not from me opening the containers either). The first time I dismissed it as I once off, but here we are again. Had I swallowed this shape piece, I’d be in hospital.

My partner also has severe food poisoning, which is what prompted me to write this review to warn others.

Ordered Salt and pepper squid tonight very disappointed. Had chilli sauce and chilli spice.squid was not fresh tasted reheated Chewy and meal was cold.
Avoid this meal they have no idea how to make authentic Salt to and pepper squid.very disappointed. In fact shocked. Serving size very small as well.

Delicious Thai, love that they include plenty of vegetables, great flavours and good price. Staff are lovely too. Our local favourite

Ordered through menulog and the restaurant forgot to put the thai green curry in the bag. When I opened the bag, all I had was rice and roti. The restaurant will only refund the Thai green curry, but I would like the whole refund as eating roti and rice on a Friday night is a bit rubbish and I could have bought these items from.coles.

Also supposed to be a celebration as.my wife just landed a promotion. Cheers pimms Thai Cafe for being absolute poopants

Great Thai food in the area. Authentic, good taste and good price. Overall is great, will definitely come back.

Nice food, sweet atmosphere. S&P calamari could have used some more seasoning, but was otherwise lovely. Nice portions and a nice price.

I was very disappointed with my takeaway here. Lacklustre flavours with the same tired vegetables found in each dish. The Tom Kha soup tasted only of coconut with no fragrance or spice to the dish. While the tofu green curry arrived with only 2 small bits of tofu. The curry had an insipid taste and looked more grey than the usual pale green. I was hoping for a bit more flavour, unfortunately did not deliver.

Very expensive for small portion of every dish. Not a good place to go if your are very hungry.

Cute little restaurant. Food was fresh, healthy and fast. Lost a star due to the slow service (and it wasn't even busy).

Relaxing atmosphere, quaint indoor seating area, nice food and great customer service. Very enjoyable experience!

We were very much looking forward to try this place but we weren’t impressed with the quality of food. All food we ordered tested the same and felt nothing like Thai. Lovely service but unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Quite disappointed. Very basic food, nothing fresh or packed with flavour. I would call this your typical “western” Thai restaurant. No authentic flavours, all very subdued and even lacking. A shame as I was hoping for more.

It was ok, my entry arrived frozen, one of our mains didn't come to the table, I'll try again might just be covid getting back into the swing of it.some music would be nice, small bright cafe.

First time for takeaways - friendly service, delicious food and a reasonable price. We'll be back!
