I just got my septum and lip pierced, honestly the best and only piercers I recommend in Melbourne, the guy was so kind and made me feel safe, he let me take my time after the piercings.

My experience getting pierced by Paulus a few weeks ago was absolutely excellent! Beau helped me book in last minute and helped me pick some jewellery which suited the piercing and my budget. During the piercing, Paulus was incredibly friendly and professional and gave very thorough advice on aftercare. My conch piercing is healing better than any other piercing I’ve received! Thanks again team. Will definitely be back!

Took my 7 year old daughter here for her ear piercing. She previously did the cartridge piercing but the earings were too small and didn't give her thick lobes any room to heal properly. The team at Piercing HQ are all so friendly, patient and experienced, leaving my daughter at ease even though she came in very nervous. Great range of earrings available and good facilities too.

Got my seconds and my septum don't here, I couldn't recommend this place more. All of the staff are so friendly and professional, very welcoming and guided me through the process and answered all my questions. Haven't had any problems with the healing of any of my piercings, and when I lost one of the screws on my jewellery they even gave me a free replacement. Very lovely store, I'll definitely be going again

Took my 5yo for her ears pierced today. I was drawn to Piercing HQ because of their emphasis on consent on their website and how they don't pierce children who cannot consent for themselves. The whole process was so supportive and Mieke continually checked in with my daughter throughout. My daughter opted to have one ear at a time but then was reluctant to get the second one done. Paulus came in to chat with her and talk to her about the process alongside Mieke. They were both fantastic. Her peircings were done perfectly and I think relatively pain free! No tears and she said they felt fine within 10 minutes. She's made up with the earrings and I'm made up that her first experience with piercings was such a positive one. Highly recommend. Thanks guys.

The "artists" here are unable to draw up concept ideas, which is so wild to me. I suppose they'd do okay if you had a design they can just copy and paste over. But if you wanted something original and drawn up, these guys aren't capable of doing so, apparently.

Staff are friendly and welcoming and the whole process is clean and professional. I also appreciate that in the consent paperwork they ask your pronouns and preferred name. They check if you have any questions throughout the process, explain things to you, and let you know how to get in touch if you have any questions or issues afterwards. Good vibes and super happy with my new piercing and my experience here.

I bit the bullet and decided to get my Prince Albert piercing. I’ve been extremely happy with the email communications before and after the piercing. Their aftercare sheets and post piercing care are very informative and helpful. I was so welcomed and assured by the professionalism by all the staff. Cheers to Adam for getting me an extra hole exactly where I needed it!

If you value your sanity at all, DO NOT come into Piercing HQ.
Owners are rude to so many customers that come through their doors. Had the unfortunate opportunity to hear them make fun of customers that come in while they are still in the piercing room getting pierced.
Lucky they have good staff that work for them to cover up their mess and make people feel good as they leave so they don't write the 1 star reviews they deserve!
(At least for a while until they quit because they don't appreciate the owners treatment of them and customers). I mean, don't take my word for it, see the proof by seeing how they have never been able to retain ANY staff!

They are nothing like the other amazing Melbourne studios like The Piercing Urge and Cherrycore. Go there instead, support owners who care about you and the piercers they employee.
Piercing HQ is an absolute joke.
