Awesome place, great nightlife, I was happy to help the fabulous bar girl serve her first pint of Guinness:) :) great place, I am from SA, highly recommend the Pier for a great night out!

The Pier is more of a grungy chilled atmosphere we really enjoy going here to catch live sports. The staff are friendly and they lots a great beer specials. They don't do meals just very simple bar snacks that wash down well with your beer but there's plenty of good food spots near by.

Always have felt welcome here I have got to know a bunch of the staff and they are all nice people except the new security guard on Friday night Saturday mornings, I understand you need someone with a certain controlling personality but he needs to be aware of who the regulars are that have never once caused an issue.
Would have been 5 stars without a doubt if he had a different approach to his job

Quite a depressing venue. I was going to have a drink until the older lady behind the bar barked "are ya lost at me" won't be returning - sunday 21st

Can't comment on the bar part, but the pier bandroom was top notch. Quick entry, minamal waiting for a drink in a busy venue, facilities well maintained and the sound system was great!

Lots of off street parking large venue with not alot happening has a moderate tabaret area does serve snacks or bar meals staff are quite attentive

Came here for the first time for Lavour Day Eve party and I’m so pleased with how the staff & security were. Huge crowds pulled in, its Frankston so there’s jerks everywhere; they handled it with professional views. I mean this by, they weren’t your rude city staff/sec who pick on certain groups & individuals. Upon exiting alone, the Sec at the door were so soothing & nice, clearly making sure you’re not in a position or to make sure your Uber arrived. Drink prices are atrocious but where are they not haha. Overall, staff highlight the night & venue was great.

DO NOT GO HERE.

One of the rudest managers I’ve ever met who demanded I take my hat off while inside then decided to kicked me out after claiming I was banned for some previous unknown issue I emailed the venue the next day I got nowhere they refused to look into my complaint saying “Thanks for letting me know about your experience at the Pier Hotel. We take every feedback seriously. In this occasion I spoke to the manager who was on duty and she told me she wasn't being rude to yourself at all. ” Just do not go here it’s not worth it
