Pidapipó Gelateria CBD

Hazelnuts and salted caramel are really delicious. It is not recommended to eat salted caramel alone. It will be too sweet and greasy after eating for a long time. Worth queuing for about 10 minutes

If you are in the city check out Pidapipo, they have the best ice-cream and a variety of unique flavours.

Tried their Bacio flavour and it’s delicious. Very smooth and not too sweet! Absolutely perfect!

Rude girl serving, I asked her what was in one of the ice creams, she sighed very loudly and just stated the 3 things that made up the name of the ice cream. Wow. I ended up getting pistachio, salted should have been added to the front. Didn't expect a salted pistachio salty ice cream. Rude as f service. Go do another job if you hate it that much cupcake.

Even if it was barely 8C in the CBD last night, we were pulled into the laneway where Pidapipo is. The queue gave us an indication that it was worth the brain freeze. Oh and yes it was! Hubby went for their Pistachio ice cream whilst I indulged on the Bacio. The Bacio didn't disappoint. It was overflowing with nuts, it was beyond generous. And talking about generous, their scoop size is big (please don't ever change it Pidapipo)! I would come back and have their ice cream even if it's the coldest day on record.

Coffee browne was bomb! Pistachio also very smooth. Generous portion. Fast service. Not a fan of eggnog flavour tho.

Always fantastic Pidapipó at its city store. The little bench seats are available for double-vaccinated dine-in which was perfect on a drizzly day.

Ice cream was delicious but the two girls who were working on Friday were so rude. Didn’t acknowledge or smile and gave an attitude if you took your time to order (why bother rushing us when there’s no one waiting). If you hate your job so much, then find another one, no need to reflect that to the customers who are being patient and kind to you.

After dinner last night my wife and I went to get ice cream in this store, thanks god the lockdown is over. Great customer service hazelnut flavour is really good pistachio need more taste just little bit too blend

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Walked in the store during lockdown and was not served. I understood one employee was fulfilling online orders. However, the other worker did not greet me or serve me. She disregarded my presence and proceeded to serve a customer behind me. I immediately left, when it was clear I was not served. For an ice cream store that is really popular, their customer service was lacking. This was my first time visiting this store and I could say it will be my last time.

Falsified open times, over-priced ice-cream and not up to the standards or other ice-cream shops in the area

I witneessed a girl being ignored by the employees, even when another customer her pointed out. She was still ignored and she was there first.

Fabulous gelato and wonderful customer services. We were a group of three coming to the CBD area for a weekend treat. After having lunch, one of our friends recommended this place for us to try out. I bought a 2-scoop scone ice-cream, with 2 flavours: pistachio and vanilla. When the staff got the gelato, she thought it was a bit running so she decided to throw it away and make me a new one. I was surprised by what she did, but was really appreciated for that at the same time, as I respected the fact that she wanted to serve me with the best quality gelato. I really enjoyed that huge scone of gelato, and in fact it was quite cheap comparing to other places for a 2-scoop scone. The only setback was the sweetness. For me personally, it was way too sweet. I expected the pistachio to be less sweet and it would be better to have some pistachio pieces in there. Other than that, the overall experience was great. Highly recommended!

Top: Salted caramel was outstanding. Not sure what those crunchy bits were, but it's unique and complimented the salted caramel gelato so well- very memorable!

Overall, great value for money considering how generous their serving size is. Such smooth tasting gelato!

Delicious gelato! My favorite flavour is still the pistachio, would try to get some ice cream whenever I am in the area.

Great design and well built architecture. Definitely an eye-catcher. A good variety of ice cream flavours. We had the chocolate and caramel flavoured and it was delicious.

Perfect place to go get a delicious gelato, the workers are very friendly and give good advice on which are the best gelatos to get. Both the chocolate and the strawberry gelatos are supreme. Would definitely recommend to get when in the area

Great ice cream and service. I wish the flavours were not hidden because it's easier to choose when you can see them without having to ask to the very busy salesperson. Or there should be 2 people working at any given time.

Pidapipo Gelateria is completely overrated. There are extremely few flavors of ice cream and when we were there, the current hits were milk ice cream with Nutella or milk ice cream with Amarone topping.

The ice cream itself was OK and the service was fine but everything seemed quite pseudo-trendy and overpriced. The toppings were applied very sparsely - as if they were truffles.

A real European gelateria is something completely different.

When presenting the ice cream there were only tiny cups or very small wafers.spilling was therefore inevitable unless you took a transport container made of Styrofoam. Of course, they cost extra.sorry that is not fancy enought.

Die Pidapipo Gelateria ist zur Gänze überbewertet. Es gibt dort extrem wenige Sorten Eis und als wir dort waren bestandene die aktuellen Hits aus Milcheis mit Nutella oder Milcheis mit Amarone Topping.

Das Eis selbst war ganz OK und der Service ging auch aber alles schien recht pseudo-trendig und war überteuert. Die Toppings wurden sehr spärlich aufgebracht - als wären es Trüffel. Eine echte europäische Gelateria ist etwas vollkommen anderes.

Bei der Darreichung des Eises gab es lediglich winzige Becher oder sehr kleine Waffeln.kleckern war also unvermeidbar außer man nahm eine Transportbehälter aus Styropor. Natürlich kostete der extra.sorry so fancy seid Ihr dann doch nicht.

Amazing ice cream with generous portions and great customer service! We’re able to taste the ice cream which is rare during covid now!
