Piccolina Gelateria

Very good gelateria serving all the classic gelato flavours as well as some rotating new/specials. Pistachio is a household favourite. Highly recommended for a nice sweet treat

Best in Melbourne. Closest to real gelato, and they have traditional flavours, not "bubblegum" or "pavlova. "

Awful attitude from the staff, I don’t know what they think they’re doing but they need some training in customer service.

Always good with decent selection of flavours. Service is fast as well.

The staff mostly are pretty indifferent, that is such a put off and I won’t be going back in a hurry.

Came here for some ice cream. Had the peanut butter special and Nutella. Ice cream was creamy and full of flavour. Quality was on point. Will definitely be returning here.

Not that great overall - the chocolate was really nice, the ‘so called’ peanut butter was vanilla choc chip ice cream and no peanut flavour and when I told them they said it was peanut butter. Salted caramel tasted like slightly burnt butter, it went in the bin. White chocolate was bland. For the cost, we won’t be going back.

Always stop by when I'm driving through the area!

The family and I dined in for a cheeky after Friday dinner ice creams. The single serves were generous, the flavours delightful. Often ice creameries attempt to bamboozle with their unique combinations, however they lose out in not doing the basics well. The vanilla here was perfection. We will return!

First time going to this place & will be the last.the lady with the black cardigan wasn’t very happy serving us, like we offended her.i asked her if they’d charge extra on card, she just stared at me & said “just whatever size u buy”. When we asked for a spoon, she said nothing but just pushed cup of spoons towards us.no greetings, no thank yous, no smiles but when others walked up to her, she immediately smiled & greeted them especially to that guy in the photo.

Had a pleasant experience at piccolina today, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, there were tons of options to pick from, sad that they dont do testing but the staff explained the flavors pretty well and even showed me what it looked like. Just one thing left me a little disappointed is that they were all out of cones, so I had to get a cup, but that is a minor issue that is out of their control.

Need a pipe flowing with the vegan pistachio flavour from here connected to my house. It's too good.

Fantastic, reminded me of the famous gelataria in San Gimignano with it's strange special flavours - I had Buffalo Ricotta with Toasted Almond and Lemon Zest and it was delicious!

This picolina has just opened to replace the one opposite the road, absolutely love the vibes of the place. Crowded as always even in winter so make sure you are comfortable lining up for a while. They have plenty of options to choose from, even with dairy free and vegan. They also have weekly specials - which is Twix and NY cheesecake at the moment but get in there early because those usually run out by post dinner time. Definitely a favourite local ice creamery!

Best ice cream in Melbourne hands down. Friendly service, quick moving line, and incredible range of flavours. Very fairly priced as well. Cakes are also very good and perfect for parties. A must try if you are in Melbourne!

Delicious ice cream served by friendly knowledgeable staff. I went to the Glenferrie Rd store last Saturday night and the team were under the pump but remained calm, polite and very efficient. The new shop looks amazing and well worth the visit, indoor seating is available. The staff made great suggestions and the young lad who served me was fantastic! White chocolate, stracciatella and salted caramel are the best.
