Pholklore Geelong

You MUST try the chicken laksa. It is literally heaven. A lil spicy, smooth, creamy and delicious. If you dont try this, then you are missing out. I am writing this review in Jan, waiting for the Gtown store to reopen after xmas, as I dream of Laksa.

My absolute go to for mouthwatering Pho and laksa. And cocktails are to die for especially Lychee Martini.

The food was ok. Not super authentic, more fusion. The seating was a bit uncomfortable and value for money was low. My meal couldnt decide if it was Pho or Laksa

The best vietnamese restaurant in Geelong. Quantity and quality of the food is really good.

First time and amazing experience. The food was really tasty - the tuna tartare oooh my god! Divine. A must do again

Good atmosphere, Pholklore cauliflower with sriracha mayo and spring rolls were good, but not a fan of the pho laksa, very heavy. Good overall.

Food is so fresh and tasty that we hit up Pholklore each time we are in Geelong. We haven't had a meal that we haven't liked! Spring rolls and popcorn cauliflower in particular are exceptional!
Only 4 stars for food because they don't have a kids menu - even just a few simple things like rice, veg, etc
And 2 stars for service because even though the staff are attentive and friendly, I just can't get on board with ordering with a QR code.
Everyone's orders go through separately, and then you have to go up to the counter to order off the menu items for kids. In my experience, the kids' food ends up coming out later than the adults. And if you have a large table, food comes out intermittently.

We eat here about once a month. The food is always so fresh and tasty. If you like pho, this is the place to go.

Great staff, great service, always a great experience. Special shout to the blonde lady at Pako, I think her name was Cass. She was very attentive and explained the entire menu thoroughly and was a great help.

Incredible vegetarian laksa and Vietnamese style iced coffee! Can't beat the $10 lunch either, thank you for accommodating our large group.

Great place! I loved going here with my Mum and her friends! We had a great time with giant bowls of pho! It was divine and l’ll definitely be returning!

One of the best Vietnamese we have ever had. Such great interesting dishes! Highly recommend!

I was very excited to visit here again but tonight we found it was not as good as usual. Ordered some extra beef in my sukiyaki for $5 extra and was disappointed by the low quality tiny portion of very fatty inedible meat. The soup was also not as tasty as usual. The rice paper rolls were also a little more average and sloppy than usual and the wilting flowers on the cauliflower could have been left off. Have previously found the quality of the fresh basil provided and the bean shoots to also be pretty poor at the Geelong restaurant. We have found the quality of cooking to be better at the Torquay phoklore over the Geelong one. In general it would be nice if phoklore took more pride in the freshness and quality of the produce they serve. Lastly, have been very disappointed in the past by the uncleanliness of the bathrooms at the Geelong restaurant. Definitely needs to be improved!

Went for lunch after work, with a colleague! The food was amazing, the drinks were awesome! Will definitely be back again! They do $10 lunch and $10 cocktails! We tried a few different cocktails and they were all so good! Highly recommend The staff were fantastic and so friendly!?

The food was ok, good service and good size.
But the Spicy marg…Looks great right?
Unfortunately is fu#%ing unenjoyable, the most spicy thing that I tried in my life…not nice at all, even if I use to order this cocktail everywhere… was honestly the worse.
But if you want to get burn really bad inside, take it?

Always have quick friendly service and great food. I find the music a bit loud, but might just be me so I don't bother about it. Always happy to head to hear.

Have been multiple times and it never disappoints! Easy to order from your phone once you’re seated and service is quick. Food is delicious and priced well! Love it

Went for Lunch, Mon around 12 when they opened, wasn't too busy, Ordered Pho Katsu with pork wontons and you have the option to add or remove ingredients for me it's no coriander
And Lychee Martini. OH MY DELICIOUS- NESS! 100% will be back to try something different next time. ️

Really tasty Vietnamese food. Mostly variations on Pho but also do Bun and Ban Mie. Possibly the best Bun I’ve had in Australia. Comes with crunchy spring rolls and loads of pickled veg and herbs. At lunchtime a big bowl of Pho is only $10. Cheerful atmosphere
