Pho Kim Long reviews
65Food was quick and tasty. We ordered the pho with raw beef and beef ball, prawn spring rolls and Diced beef with tomato rice.
Pho here is ok but the beef was a bit chewy and the chicken was dry. Sorry but wouldn’t come back in a hurry: (
Friendly staff members! Definitely the best PHO joint in St Albans. Generous portion when dine-in whilst everything will be delicately packed for takeaway!
After you have pho in Springvale, it's kind of difficult to find a good pho restaurant in the west.
We've been to far and wide in the west and have not been impressed with any pho shops.
That was until we went Pho Kim Long. Pho K Long's bowl of pho packs the right flavours and hits the spot.
It was such a great feeling knowing that there is at least one good pho shop in the west.
Their crispy chicken rice was also delicious. Not a lot of shops get the tomato rice and soup right, but this place did.
I highly recommend you come here for your Vietnamese fix.
I've already recommended to my friends.
First visit here based on the reviews. Not disappointed. Beef pho was very good and so was the crispy chicken tomato rice.
Will be back again to try the other soup noodles on the menu.
Our new favourite Vietnamese restaurant. The rice vermicelli with bbq pork is the best that we have ever had so far. And service is always good and friendly.
Best pho I've found in Melbourne. I've tried about 10 different place in footscray and 2 in St Albans and this is easily the best
One of the best Pho I tasted in Melbourne. Broth had a strong yet balanced flavour of herbs (cinnamon, cardamom) and beef bones. The rice noodles retained a good bite and the beef slices goes perfectly with the sauce and lemon. Definitely will return again.
We tried their signature phở and crispy chicken rice. Both were really yummy especially the phở (beef noodle soup) was super tasty and lots of meats, big portion. The best phở (southern type) in the west for sure
This was my first Vietnamese food experience so I have nothing to compare this place to. The food was light and full of new surprise flavours for me. Loved the soup (like a miso soup but taste even better with a hint of jasmine). It felt like walking into a local restaurant and have a very good meal in Vietnam. The staff were also very friendly but I could use a little help with the menu
The best pho I've ever had in the West. I've tried southern and northern style phos all over Australia and California and this is the best. The broth is clean and fresh yet deep in flavor. I recommend not putting any hoi sin or Sriracha in.
The pickled onions (hanh dam?) are just slightly sweet and I love pouring a little of the brine in.
You can get half orders of the spring rolls (thin egg rolls for any tourists) if you don't want all 10. Wrap them in the always fresh crispy iceberg lettuce with vietnamese mint (rau ram?) And dip in the nuoc nam. The prawn ones are delicious and so are the pork.
Service is excellent. Same workers I remember from 12 years ago plus some younger newer faces. Might be family owned and run.
Bowls of pho are currently $14. Worth every penny.
Take away is great but remember to ask for the onions. Dining in is better.
Pho is and has bally good. I dine here almost everyday for breakfast without fail. Like any other day I have my breakfast here, today I sat at table 3. What really got me upset was the fact that I corner I sat at smell like "Pee".
Like I say I am a regular patron, and Kim Long is the best Pho restaurant in St Albans, but this was disguisting.
Fantastic quality every time, no matter what you order. Best in St Albans and maybe even better than top pho places in Footscray and Richmond.
My favorite soup place, I always come here with my family ️ Staff are friendly, food is always ready in a flash ️
Been here twice now, every time I didn't leave this place disappointed. I have tried the meatball and raw beef pho, pork spring rolls and crispy chicken tomato rice. All of them are flavourful and delicious. The portion is big and prices are reasonable. Always busy during lunchtime but the wait time shouldn't be long according to my observation. This is a place I will always visit after I got a haircut in st albans from now on.
Best Pho in St Albans. Came out piping hot
Taste is between home made pho at home and mainstream pho at a restaurant.
Wonderful food and sensational staff members "Loi" and "Hien"!
love you guys so much!
thank you so SO SO MUCH for the hospitality!
Really nice pho & crispy chicken. Place is nice and clean, staff is quiet but very friendly. I just happened to drop by and it was a pleasant surprise!
The best pho I've ever had! Came here with a friend that recommended it and had pho with some pork spring rolls and it was absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable and the service was super fast for a Friday night. 100% recommend Kim long for a nice meal.
If you’re looking for the best pho in St. Albans it’s here at Kim long. They won’t kill you with msg making you super thirsty after the meal. It’s perfect!?
