Pho Hung Vuong 2 reviews
79I'm Vietnamese international student who used to work in different Pho restaurants, Hung Vuong 2 is the only place brings the truth taste of Vietnamese Pho in Melbourne, i usually come here for biggest bowl of sliced beef, brisket, and fat Pho.
This is definitely my to go to Pho place in Melbourne. The soup is very authentic; it’s sweet but has a very strong beef flavour. After recently visiting Vietnam, I can say that this place serves some of the most mouth watering pho and it’s only $14 for a huge bowl. Honestly, if you’re looking for a good cheap eats which carries flavours straight from Vietnam, this is the place for you.
The stock is super tasty. A little on the sweet side but one of the best on the street.it could do with a little bit more meat but overall.great place. I return here often. Sliced beef my go to.
Our go to place for pho on Victoria St. Lovely staff. Greadlt food. Would be good if there was some more variation in the menu. I'd love to be able to order half soup or extra noodles noodles
Hard to go astray with the beef and beef balls here. A small bowl will satisfy, the large may feed a small nation. Pair with prawn spring rolls and traditional Vietnamese iced coffee for a classic combination.
Best pho I've had in Melbourne by far! I lived in Vietnam for 8 months and Pho Hung Vuong 2 is the real deal. Very generous portions too! I'm a big guy but the medium always satasfies.
Tasty Pho chicken noodle soup. Nicer ambience Vs the traditional Vietnamese Pho restaurant. Worth a try.
Must try Pork chop broken rice and the fried spring roll. Better than some of the best eating pho in Richmond.
Definitely some of the best pho in Melbourne. Felt compelled to review it, hopefully it doesn't get busier cos it's a gem!
Best beef Pho I've tasted in Melbourne thus far! I like generally to try different places when people come to visit us in Melbourne. However we will be taking our son (a cattle farmer) back there this week to show him how good beef soup can taste. Spring rolls with fresh lettuce, herbs and dipping sauce, flavours so fresh!
Hands down best Pho in Melbourne. Now they're twice the size, dining in is a major plus as the food is out in minutes.
The Pho is standard, the pho stock and the rice noodles which are nice, however the beef slices can be more thin, still searching the best Pho in here
Great tasting pho. Ordered the medium was large. The large size is huge. Soup is tasty. Definately worth the visit if you are craving
Pho.
Delicious! Rare beef pho was just how I like it - light but flavoursome broth and a good texture of the noodles (not too thick). We also had the pork spring rolls and prawn spring rolls which were tasty and not greasy. Freshly squeezed orange juice for $5 is another bonus. Good value overall.
Random Sunday midday pho.gets a bit busy around lunch on a Sunday so be mindful if your planning to rock up with a party more than 2 then there might be a little wait, but I recommend you wait because the pho is worth it.
The pho is the nicest I have tasted in Melbourne. The soup is tasty and the beef is delicious. Food is served fast and hot. Try the Vietnamese coffee as well (esp the white coffee) which is unique. Not far from CBD - take tram 12,109, or metro to North Richmond.
This Pho Hung Vuong 2 has no relation to the famous Pho Hung Vuong in Springvale or Footscray.
I ordered a small Beef Brisket Noodles, the noodles were not smooth, quite thick and not transparent, soup was warm and not clear, briskets were in big pieces.
If you thought this Pho Hung Vuong 2 is one of the best pho in Melbourne, you must try Pho Hung Vuong in Springvale, but it is too far for tourists.
The veggie soup was so delicious, the service was friendly and it was a bargain. While I was there people were lining up out the door. I now understand why.
