PHO Hung Preston reviews
85Regular Patron you looking for good Pho OR Vietnamese food this restaurant is the place to go.based in High st, Preston. VIC
Totally enjoyed the meal. Amazing that they were ready to serve at the time we went. Grateful that they had table service. They check your vaccine certificate at the door, shot you down and in no time once you have ordered the food is ready to eat.
Staff are very friendly, easy going, know their regulars, and are good communicators.
Be aware, they like cash, but do take card so don't panic.
The meal was fantastic, filling and worth the price.
So love dining here always an Amazing meal. The staff are friendly and make it a pleasant place for everyone. The food is fantastic and I recommend you give it a go. Thanks for making this one of my best places to eat. I've been coming here many years. Now the friends I've brought with me are looking forward to coming back.
Not great pho. Watery broth, no flavor. They don’t even offer chopped fresh chillies and when you ask for it, they give you a few slices.
It’ll do if you’re desperate for pho but otherwise.there’s better out there.
The staff here are so friendly, and the service is FAST. When I placed my order, I was told about the potential allergens in my food without even needing to ask (peanuts, shellfish). I had my full meal brought to my table in under 5 minutes, and the food was delicious and cooked just right. All around a great place to dine.
Sooooo disappointed with our meal tonight. The Tom Yum noodle soup was weak and lacking flavour and depth. My partners chicken Pho had the same issues. Previously he had a great pho from here. Paid nearly $60 and felt greatly let down
Great fast service, delicious soup. I get Pho with roast chicken leg. Never a long wait for a table and very reasonably priced.
Always used to be my go to pho in the area, but unfortunately standards have gone down. Today's pho bo dac biet was served with a broth that tasted nothing like pho broth should.
Still lovely staff and great atmosphere though. I remember their com tam was nice so I will maybe have that next time.
I was told the waiting time will be around 20 minutes but ended up waiting for 45 minutes.for 2 take way Pho noodle soup. The broth wasn’t even hot at all, had to boil it again!
The vegetables weren’t fresh (especially the bean sprouts), we decided not to put them in the soup.
Has not been back to this place for awhile. Felt like it lost its flavour a bit. My special pho didn't have that punch that it used to give.
Yummy Vietnamese food! I thought this is the same restaurant as the one in Richmond, but apparently not. Nonetheless, yummy Vietnamese food! Friendly staff and although it was quiet busy during lunch time but food came out fast. Generous serving and friendly price. We’ll be back for more as they have wide selection of menu.
Pho Hung is one of my favourite restaurant in Melbourne.
Their main dish is the delicious, hearty and freshly made noodle soup.
Staffs are so nice and friendly. Service is quick and very pleasant.
Their 4 colours ice dessert is also so good. Definitely a place to go to especially in cold winter.
Not too bad. So far I have not had one Pho which makes me feel outstanding in all Pho restaurants in Melbourne.
On top of the worse service ever I got food poisoning. I think they used rat meat instead of chicken. Be very careful
Fast paced little eatery at a lunch time. Food has that authentic feeling and flavour about it and meal sizes won't leave you feeling hungry.
I’ve visited here a few days ago and it was my first time here. I was looking for some kind of noodles and I did not know what they called. But a lady who took my order at the cashier counter was REALLY kind and helped me to find out what I want. She was so lovely and calm️ And theres a good customer services here!
Always a fav to go here
Food is very good
Our young waiter did stuff up our orders though, but he were polite & apologetic
Ordered 1 x Rice Vermicelli Spring Roll and 1 x fried banana and ice cream. I always order Vermicelli at every Vietnamese restaurant, I think this dish at this restaurant is pretty good and even better than the other one having better rating. And for the fried banana and ice cream is like normal taste, didn’t really surprise me. But overall, this restaurant is not a bad choice for this pricing.
Great food! Love their beef brisket pho and calamari with spicy salt.
Only thing is every time I have been there, their cups and tables have been quite visibly dirty.
I have been eating here for nearly 20 years and I've never had a bad meal. Recommended dishes are the Phò (my personal preference is rare beef with brisket and tendon), Bun Bo Hue, Broken rice, and the Salt and Pepper Calamari.
