Pho Bo Ga Mekong Vietnam reviews
54 Don’t get the fried donut, unbeatable since it’s tough and stale. (Why put it on menu if it’s that bad?)
The pho was good, hits the spot on a rainy day.
A mixture of flavors and don’t forget to ask for chilli with it.
Stopped by because I was in need of a bowl of pho Pho broth was great, one of the best i've tasted and big portion.it's really good i just wish i ordered additional meat toppings because i was sharing the bowl
The spring rolls was yumm, came in hot so that's great in my book.taste great and not too oily, love the dipping sauce but my sister and i preferred dipping it in sriracha (which was available on the table).
Best food in mel
A Korean song is playing haha.
It's plentiful and delicious.
I recommend it
It’s a Melbourne city institution for great Vietnamese food! Atmosphere is good with no-fuss aesthetics with picture of celebrities who have dined there. Food is authentic and tasty
I ordered and beef and tendon pho. The broth was umami and it paired well with the chewy noodles. The price was quite reasonable in my opinion.
I had the grilled pork vermicelli noodle salad here and it was delicious! Very generous serving size compared to the other places I’ve tried in the area. Highly recommend:)
The service is good and the pho is just as good. But what happened to the chef recently, he was so thirsty after returning home, MSG didn’t need money.
Awful customer service. Very rude behavior towards the customer. Waitress here do not deserve to be working here or anywhere else as a waitress. Delayed service, unresponsive waiter/waitress, improper food handling, and more over not so welcoming. But the food was good, but would never go to this place ever again.
Beef Special is really delicious. It’s a taste that helps you overcome the cold. It's a great delicacy when it's hot and cold like soup.
However, the chagrilled chicken I ordered on the side was dry and slightly undercooked, so it wasn't very tasty.
Waiter did not double check our order list before sending order to kitchen. As a result duplicate order came due to the scan barcode app issue and they made us take away it
Their chargrilled chicken phò & chargrilled pork phò are our fav dishes. The bowls are huge and the broth is stunning.
Their noodle salads are also super delicious.
Fun fact: Bill Clinton ate two bowls here!
Fast service, large portion and the best PHO I’ve ever had. I ordered the char grilled chicken pho. Will definitely be coming back.
Had fresh spring rolls and dry noodles. Taste was good and the vibe reminded me of streets of Hanoi.
My partner and I have gone to at least a dozen Vietnamese restaurants to throughout Victoria since travelling to Vietnam and I felt this has been my favourite one! Pho had a flavourful broth, and the spring rolls were fresh and great too. Definitely will be coming back again.
Overcooked noodles, smelly meat, A taste that does not live up to its reputation. I have no idea why it has become famous.
My first visit to the restaurant wasn't the best. The staff were rude and not very welcoming. My partner and I ordered a pho each and a serve of veggie spring rolls. The Pho broth wasn't tasty, it looked and tasted like instant broth.and the spring rolls were okay. I actually felt ill after eating the food and couldn't finish it all.
-Thank you for your service though @Pho Bo Ga Mekong Vietnam, I hope you can improve!:)
One of the best spring rolls around. Would highly recommend the prawn and chicken spring rolls! Wrap the lettuce around them and you have the perfect dose of #health.
Only 3 stars for this restaurant as the pho was highly disappointing. The broth lacked a depth to the flavor, and there can certainly be more onions on top. The quality of the beef also needs to be improved.
It was my first Vietnamese restaurant, my meal wasn’t bad I can’t remember the name, my mint drink was excellent!
But my gf is a big fan of pho and unfortunately it was the worst she ever got, I’ve never tried this before but it tasted just like water with chicken drum …
I really appreciated having hot eat for free
Iconic Melbourne pho restaurant. It's been around for years. Some places need to stay because they are part of Melbourne CBD history and culture. Without Mekong, Melbourne would not have the Vietnamese food scene we enjoy today.
