Pho A Gogo reviews
54The pho soup base here is definitely the best ive tasted for a while, pure beef and chicken broth, not those fake seasoning bs. Honest boss who is friendly when you get to know him (I've been converted to a regular here!). He told me the soups are prepared overnight and I can surely taste the difference. Don't waste your time with the other pho place on this Clarendon street!:)
I visit it very regularly. Almost every week.
The place is bright and clean. Service is friendly.
Food is delicious. My favourite is char grilled pork bun (rice noodle bowl). Spring rolls are yummy as well.
Note: It has to be paid upfront in cash.
Taste ok, but horrible attitude, asked for more chilli, stared at me and walked away.kid brought chilli after, didnt know about pay upfront, asked and the guy rudely pointed at menu with the text. Not coming back again.
Spectacular, high quality Vietnamese food. Their Bun Bo Hue (spicy broth noodle soup) is one of the best out of many other Vietnamese restaurants I have been at. I've had the Bun Bo Hue 4 times a week one time.
Not family friendly. Agree with all the other bad reviews. Owner was extremely rude about us dining with our 1 year old, which resulted in us leaving, having paid but not eaten our meals. Owner was aggressive and threatening when we asked for a refund. Zero stars.
Open breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner this place is perfect for your Pho fix and other meal options. Friendly staff and quick service. This is my go to place in South Melbourne. Just a quick walk from the city too.
Delicious pho, best broth I've ever had, didn't need any adjusting - full of flavour! Staff/boss was lovely to chat to also. Friendly place.
Very authentic Pho! As someone used to Asian food, and having travelled in Australia for the past two weeks, this is just heavenly!
Cash only venue. The sercing kid is cute. Food is just ok. The 2 white couples before and after us could pay after eating, we as 2 Asian guys were requested for cash right at the table after ordering. Couldn't justify this except their being racists
I regularly visit there. Food is delicious with friendly service. Pho with beef, tendon, tripe are my favorites. Spring rolls, rice rolls, char grilled pork bun and special fried rice are also highly recommended.
Prepare cash to enjoy meals that are cooked with heart.
Not even one star. Went there at 5.30 on a Sunday evening for dinner with our one year old. Ordered (and paid for) our pho & once it arrived we got told off for having our child with us.
We left after being made to feel uncomfortable & when we asked for our money back as we hadn't eaten our meals or drank our beers we remember chased down the street by the owner.
Avoid at all costs!
Family ran businesses, very lovely staffs and most importantly the food is really good in the traditional way.
Best recommended pho around Melbourne area.
Best pho broth in Melbourne! Get all the flavor from fresh bone, meat and herbs. Great quality & hygienic. I visit this restaurant 2-3 times a week! Please support this family owned business
Do not expect service at 5 star hotel, prepare to pay a reasonable extra buck to get an extra bowl to share with your child.
Kids should behave and supervise by their parents at all time=]
Great food, disgusting customer service.asked for an extra spare large bowl, got told it cost a dollar ok i paid no problem gave me a small bowl, i politely asked can i have a large bowl said no u cant have it?
