Phat Milk reviews
63 Always great food, friendly welcoming service and excellent coffee here. There’s local friendly feel about the place - you see many regulars which is always a sign of a high quality business.
Great range of options on the menu; love the tacos and great use of preserved lemon in the smashed avo. Again - excellent coffee.
Nice coffee. My heated croissant came back burnt. They know it's burnt but still served it. Bad service. Very disappointing.
Very nice brunch here today. Good service and lovely food, with generous serves. Plus excellent coffee - what's not to like
I would’ve taken a picture, but food was so good that I couldn’t even stop to take a picture.
AMAZING PLACE, friendly staff.
Favourite spot for Sunday breaky.
Outstanding service n coffee, n food. Loved by locals, service is quick n freindly. Community is so grateful for kindness n connection. Much love.
$5 for a take away coffee. I remember being this outraged when pints went over $10 but then I look around and realise all other places still charging $4 so why does this place think their average coffee is worth $5
Love this place! My favourite brunch spot, food is always amazing and the coffee is the best I’ve had in a long time
Great food, Great scenery and great coffee! Dog friendly courtyard so I could enjoy a lovely breakfast with my fur baby! Lovely breakfast spot I highly recommend.
A cafe just outside of Melbourne's CBD that has service and a menu that simply wows. The most challenging part of your experience will be deciding what on earth to choose. From sweet to savory breakfast, brunch and lunch meals, PHAT MILK has you covered! OH AND SHOULD I ADD, THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A COFFEE! A big YES from me! Be sure to add Phat Milk to your next breaky, brunch and lunch spot asap and to warm your winter soul, you must try the 'Almond, Banana and Seasonal Fruit Porridge'. One last thing, bring your adorable pooches! They will be in for a treat too hehe.
Phat Milk looks deceptively cosy from the front but extends well back with plenty off seating beyond what you can see from the street. We sat in the sunny courtyard and ordered coffee and juice to start.
I ordered the what the phat chicken burger which was had deliciously crispy double chicken and plenty of tasty sauces to make this a really juicy burger. Chips were shoestring good.
My dining buddy had a healthy porridge with layers of sliced fruit on top and perfect for the season and those cooler mornings. Vegan friendly too which is good for those who need it to be so. There were at least 3 vegan options on the menu.
Our shared dessert was the knefeh French toast with ice cream and rose water for pouring over. A Pretty and dish but get to it before that ice cream melts.
Highly recommend this cafe! Super friendly staff. Great food and good place to take kids. Definitely going back!
Average coffee quality. The staff especially the females seemed to have an “off” attitude and were not pleasant. The experience of even ordering a coffee does not make me or any of my friends want to come here again
Hadn't been here in a couple of years because back then there was only 1 vegan option on the menu and it wasn't great. Came here yesterday with some friends because I saw that there were more options now. Unfortunately they incorrectly advertise that the fritters come as a vegan option but that wasn't disclosed to me when I ordered and I wasn't told until all of our food was about to be served and had to quickly pick something else. So, I kind of panicked and ordered the Porridge instead (I wish I hadn't but that's on me). Everyone else's food was delicious and the coffee was lovely but the portion sizes for what you pay are pretty disappointing ($21 for 2 tacos) and we were all still hungry when we left. On the plus side the waitress was very nice but I'll probably just stick to getting coffees only from here in future.
This was a great birthday venue for my daughters birthday party! We had 40 friends and family, and the venue gave us the flexibility to bring in a kids entertainer, set up a ball pit, the works! Great people to work with!
Without a doubt my favourite brunch spot in Ascot Vale and my favourite coffee in Melbourne (yup, it’s got my vote!). The food never disappoints and I love the Lebanese twist to the dishes, gives it that extra layer of flavour - I think I’ve tried just about everything on the menu now haha. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxed.it’s the perfect suburban cafe
First time here. Nice and pleasant vibes. Felt as though something was missing but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe lacking a bit of character? Will be back to try more from their menu.
The owner couldn't even put his phone down to serve me and some other people that were standing in the cafe.he just kept talking without even attempting to acknowledge us at all.he just looked at us and kept talking, extremely arrogant! No hello no thank you and practically no service.why would I ever return to a place like this when I could go next door and get good service and good coffee️
I give one star and four thumbs down for lack of manners and just being straight up rude to customers.
Love this cafe! Come here every morning for my coffee, friendly and welcoming service. No wonder it’s a local favorite, must try the halloumi tacos it’s so delicious
AMAAAAZIIIING! Haloumi tacos and the fritters are worth driving hours for! The food and coffee are simply out of this world and the service is brilliant! Now I need to go back and get me some taco.
Absolutely disgusting! I never leave reviews but this place definitely needs one. Definitely overpriced food. Rude service and no recognition to the customers. The owner (from what I believe) couldn't get off his phone and didn't even greet me. Definitely not a place for people of colour! I didn't feel welcome sitting down to enjoy the meal I paid for (by the way I was asked to pay before being served, like I was going to run away. Not the case with the rest of the customers). Very unpleasant and disturbing experience.
