My family and I had a great dinner here. Amazing food and lovely service. Highly recommended

A spur of the moment decision to eat here shortly after 1pm on a busy Friday afternoon. We were found a table for two overlooking Gem pier. Staff were courteous and efficient. We ordered a bar meal of veal parmigiana/garden salad with a house wine for two. Price came to $48 which I regard as exceptionally cheap. I couldn't fault the service. Will definitely come back again.

Welcomed by a bad smell in the bar/foyer area which set a bad vibe. Atmosphere pretty dull for a nice Sunday afternoon, very dark interior. Staff nice enough but food and drinks underwhelming.

Had the Rib Eye. Asked for med rare & got exactly that. @ $48 but $45 would be better. Buchutto was the only let down, $19 & 3 small pieces only & wanted to share [whichi still did]. Very nice though.
Others ordered Sirloin & was chewey & not prepared as ordered but I think orders got mixed up - medium [just ok], well done [yuk], etc.

A little bar and restaurant on the sea, with a park and the possibility to buy a ticket for the ferry to Port Melbourne.

Much better than the reviews online, great friendly service.had a lovely lunch on a Tuesday. Oysters and seafood platter were delicious and reasonably prices and the kids loved their dishes also. Nice quiet friendly atmosphere with quick food service.

Great staff and service, but the food was way below average. The chicken wings were tasteless, stale, and way too few for 9 bucks. Also the vegetarian pizza left a lot to be desired. Nice ambience and venue but would stay away from the food.

Heard amazing things about this place, maybe I came at the wrong season but they were very stingy with their serving of chips on a plate. My friend ordered a steak and it actually came with 6 chips, I got the marinara and the seafood was onpoint but the pasta was abit bland for my liking. We did have a big table and they bought our food out quite quickly considering alot of us ordered steak. Beautiful scenery!

This place has SO much potential but it lacks in a number of areas. The food is fine but I think the staff are undertrained; it takes a long time for your table to be cleared once you’re finished main course. It’s in a terrific area with nice views etc but it REEKS of dirty ashtrays and cigarette smoke. If you’re a smoker you’ll love it here. If you’re not a smoker consider going elsewhere. We sadly had to leave yesterday as the pong was just too vile. We hadn’t noticed it (much) a few weeks ago but it was on point yesterday. I might give it another chance but given the variety in Williamstown might just head elsewhere.

Great place. Table of 25+ and food came out quick. Some meals had maybe 6 pieces of chips and some none at all so unsure if that is normal serving or due to shortage on potatoes, but that would've been better if serving size was abit bigger as average price on a plate is over $30+. Great atmosphere and friendly service though.

Always a nice meal at the Pelican. Bar menu is better at lunch than the restaurant menu in my opinion.

I think this might be my second review for this place but they deserve it. It's Wednesday evening at we're at the pasta and pot night. These guys have the formula right. Reasonably priced drinks and food and nice staff - which explains the good crowd. I noticed some of the other restaurants only a hundred metres away are empty. Maybe they should come here and observe.

Lovely scenery as you dine and sun sets in giving you the most beautiful ambience.whether with your group of friends or a romantic dinner. Paella was super yummy.one of my favourite

We booked which turned out to be a good idea because it was busy. Initially we were seated on the sea view facing verandah but it was just too hot so we relocated inside. We ordered a bottle of wine and i ordered the marinara. The pasta was cooked perfectly and there was a good collection of seafood with a tasty sauce. It was busy but there was no pressure to leave and to see the staff giving kids helium filled balloons was a nice touch. I can see why it is so popular.

Clean, flavourful food. Inside and balcony dinng. Off street parking available. $30 - $45 a main. Good for a lazy lunch.

The best spaghetti marinara I had in years
Just one small drawback as an italian I like my spaghetti not broken up by as you take out of the box, still they where the best, right balance of garlic and all other ingredients

Nice place but very noise and crowded don't expect to be eating fast as the orders are more than the kitchen can ceep up with great cenary though and friendly staff ran off there feet
