Transitions from one day care to another are never easy especially if your child is at that Mid toddler tantrum stage where everything can seem to be overwhelming and emotional. After only a couple days of starting daycare with regular drop offs that were full of tears and "I want to go home now" we are 3 weeks in to the stage where our little man refuses to leave at the end of the day! This can only be a testament to the unconditional support and love displayed to by the educators at the centre. They are warm and loving without being fake. They are genuinely interested in the likes and dislikes of the children and are prepared to help them develop their special skills and talent. Parenting is hard but looking after kids who are not yours like you are their parent is even more challenging. I say well done and keep up the great work! It's definitely made life a lot easier for us.

My daughter started at Pelican Childcare in the Nursery a couple of months ago and loves it! The staff have been wonderfully patient with her as she adjusts after being at home so long with Mum.
To watch her speech develop and her thrive and become more independent has been a delight and to receive a update on how her day has been with photos has been lovely.

Staff are always happy, welcoming and friendly, and we are greeted with a smile in the morning - you can tell they love what they do, and that's why we wouldn't put her anywhere else.

Highly recommended!

As a new parent we had no experience with day-care. So, for a start we thought we will send our child to Pelican Lynbrook day-care which is close to our house. When we walked into Pelican Lynbrook, we were greeted warmly by the support team who took us into the classroom for a tour. What we found was more than what we expected. Although initially it was tough for our child to get settled, but within few weeks he was well settled and got comfortable with loving and caring environment that was being provided by Pelican Lynbrook educators. The educators encouraged us to call or visit anytime to check on our little one which really helped to put our mind at ease. We appreciate the daily feedback we receive about our kid's schedule. We are so glad that we chose Pelican Lynbrook as a place of care and education for our kid.

Our experience with Pelican has been a very positive one!
Our eldest is in her first year of school now, but has been through every room at Pelican from nursery to kinder and she often tells me she misses it. Our youngest is currently in the toddler room and loves it just as much. I’m really happy with the care he gets and I always leave him knowing he’s in fantastic hands. The centre really tries to go the extra mile with organising excursions and jumparoo classes. I always love seeing what he gets up to with the daily write ups and photos that I get via the app. The director is always looking for ways to improve the service and has recently had the playground upgraded, introduced sustainable practices, herb gardens that the kids help to maintain, there’s a coffee station and occasional morning tea for parents (thanks to the amazing on site cook), but most importantly, it’s a pleasant, friendly and nurturing environment which has seen both of my kids develop and thrive.
I would recommend this centre to anyone looking to put their child into care.
