Pelican Childcare Lynbrook

I cannot speak highly enough of Pelicans Childcare. We started with Pelican early this year with both my sons and the staff have been nothing but amazing, supportive and friendly throughout the whole transition. The staff are simply amazing - incredibly caring, compassionate, and always willing to go above and beyond to support my boys, and making it a real point to get to know the whole family. They take the time to get to know each child individually, which is evident in the way they interact with my boys. Their care and compassion are truly exceptional, and I always feel at ease knowing my boys are in good hands. What sets Pelican Childcare apart is their proactive approach to problem-solving. Whenever a challenge may arise, they are quick to assist and do so in a professional, kind and discreet manner. Nothing is too much or too hard for them to do, which is incredibly reassuring as a parent. It's been such a relief to know that my boys are in such capable hands. In addition, Pelican Childcare has such a welcoming and inclusive environment. They openly embrace diversity, have taken the time to upskill themselves in areas that may be unfamiliar to them to ensure that all children (regardless of ability) are able to participate fully and they create a sense of belonging for all children in their care. I've been so impressed by the activities they offer and the care they take to make sure everyone feels involved. I am grateful for the outstanding care and education that Pelican Childcare provides and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality childcare services. It's clear that they are committed to providing the best possible care for every child, and I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful service. The environment is welcoming and inclusive, and my children love going there. Thank you Pelicans!

My daughter actually chose this as her Childcare centre, when she was only 6 months old. She smiled at everyone and obviously responded to the warm and inviting environment that is Pelican Lynbrook. It feels like home!
I was only new to the area of Lyndhurst/Lynbrook so I was unsure as to what daycare/childcare centers existed. After searching on maps and reading the reviews, I booked a tour.
After seeing how my daughter responded to everyone at the centre on our tour, I knew this was the right place for her and me. The staff are so beautiful and attentive to both her and my needs, especially through the transition. They even embraced our desire to continue to utilise cloth nappies and expressed breastmilk. Nothing is too difficult.
The communication is next level and everyone is interested in who you are and what is happening. From the managers, Kate and Victoria through to the educators in each room, everyone knows my daughter's name and says good morning.
One of the best decisions for us as a family. My daughter is excelling and I can't thank the team at Pelican Lynbrook enough for their ongoing support and involvement in my daughter's development.

As an Educator and first time Mum, I knew exactly what I was looking for for my son in a centre. After moving my son from his first centre, I found what I was looking for at Pelican. As soon as I walked in for a tour (which was not booked) I was welcomed and really listened to. From the first day that my son started at Pelican the level of care has been amazing. Every Educator greets my son by name even if they aren’t his regular Educators. There are no tears on drop offs and the centre is always calm and welcoming and he genuinely loves coming to ‘school’. The quality of learning and activities/experiences that are provided on a daily basis are engaging and his development has come so far in such a short time. In every photo that we receive my son is happy and engaged and it makes me so happy knowing that he is safe and being so well cared for. I don’t spend my days feeling worried and anxious. Kate and Vic are amazing and are always available for any questions or concerns. The best decision I made was enrolling my son at Pelican.

My son has attended Pelican Childcare Lynbrook since he was 15 months old, he is now 5 and he will be leaving for school.

As a mum of one of those kids who need more time to settle into a new environment, I had concerns about my son's struggles at the beginning.

When I first walked into Pelican Childcare Lynbrook for a tour, beautiful big smiles and giggles from little kids in the room ensured me that this is the place that gave me hope and confidence my little boy will be looked after really well.

Kate and Victoria in the Management team always made us feel very welcome every morning. They were excellent at communicating with us and responding to our feedback.
Special thanks to Vivian the first educator my son met at the toddler room gave my son a massive amount of care, love and attention. Vivian learnt a few simple Korean words to communicate with my son who couldn't speak English back then. And also Inge who made my little boy giggles all the time. My son still talks about stories that Inge told him a few years ago and laughs at himself.:)
Kiran from 3 year kinder room, was always very passionate about what she does and she was patient to listen to my worries and hopes for my son. Also, she was a legend who helped my son toilet training very smoothly.:)
Nishel in the 4-year kinder room took a lot of initiatives to make learning and organised programs for preparing kids for school. One day my son surprised me by reading books on his own all of a sudden.
Lastly, Eddie was an amazing educator with a warm personality. She was very good at interacting and connecting with kids. My son absolutely loved chatting with Eddie about superheroes.:)

Educators are very caring and so is the management. Kate and her team have been very responsive to any concerns raised with them and always show commitment towards the well-being of children. Fantastic place for kids

My son has been here for a week, My son use to go to another centre for prekinder moving him to Pelican is the best decision I did for me and my son. My son behaviour has changed, he is socializing with other kids when he was the complete opposite at the other kinder. My son wakes up in the morning happy to go to kinder now.
He is always happy when I drop him off there. Pelican has offered so much to not only me but to my son. They truly care about all the kids who come to the centre. They are willing to put in more work towards your child.
A week of my son being there i have notice a massive change in him. All you need is that one centre that will be there for you and your child. Going to Pelican you will get this and more.

We have been so happy with everything the Staff have done to ease our child into their care. The facilities are wonderful with generous space and loads of sensory fun to explore. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My child goes to pelican and I can’t fault it. It’s very clean and with plenty of room, not to forget the decent size yards. They have fantastic and friendly staff, your always greeted with a smile. The Communication between staff and parents is fabulous. Plus extra Communication with the app that gives you regular updates on your child throughout the day is amazing, you never feel like your missed out on what your child has been up to.

My boy goes to Pelican and absolutely loves it there. He enters his room and goes straight to leave his bag and without turning to look at me, he says bye and just plays. This tells miles of how good the facility and the educators are. And speaking of educators, everyone is so lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. Awesome work!

I love the regularity of the communication from the centre and the staff make it a point to get to know you as a family. My daughter is loving her time here as well!

My son comes home happy and eager to tell me about his day at Pelican! We recently moved over from another local childcare in the area. My son has been in the 4 yo kinder room since Jan 2022, and by two weeks in we could already see the difference in development and behaviour. My son also has speech delay so that was important for us to work on with his educators. The educators in his room have made a big effort to include him in every activity, without forcing him in anyway, they show him how to have fun at the same time learning key skills. Their communication style is amazing (Xplor) where I feel like I never miss a moment of my sons day. We are so thankful for everyone at Pelican and can say honestly the only thing I regret is not moving him into Pelican sooner.

Ever since my kids have moved here from another daycare that I won’t name, they have been much better off in all aspects, friendly staff an team, great environment for the kids, would recommend to anyone look for the right place for their kids

We felt part of a family from the start, great caring team and my daughter loves the time she spends there.

My twins love going to day care at pelican, the girls are amazing teachers. Its so important to be comfortable leaving your kids in care and I wouldn't leave them anywhere else! Kate and her team are Brilliant.

This is an excellent daycare the staff are brilliant with my daughter and she loves going every day.

My son only started his enrollment at the beginning of the year but I can already see progress in all aspects of his development.
We all know Covid has been so difficult for families, especially those with younger children who have spent much of their lives stuck in lockdowns.
Kate and her team carried out such a caring, empathetic and professional approach, providing a high level of assistance and guidance throughout my sons orientation and that honestly meant the world to me.
They continue to display a genuine interest which makes me feel so happy when I drop my son off for the day.
I’d also like to make special mention of my son’s primary educator Vivian, she is so great at what she does and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you

Can’t fault this childcare, so welcoming to my child. He loves going there and playing with his friends, never had a problem.

Excellent staff and great team of carers. Kate (supervisor) is always happy to respond to queries. It is by far the best childcare centre I have taken any of my kids to. Keep it up.

My two daughters have been at this centre for a year now and the transition from the previous centre was amazing, my eldest daughter was struggling in the mornings at drop off at the previous centre but at this centre there have been no struggles in the mornings. They both everyday are so excited to attend for the day, and have such wonderful things to say when they are picked up. The communication from educators to parents is great and nothing is missed. Can not fault this centre and would recommend to anyone!
