A follow up to my original post - "They may be closed as they don't respond to emails or phone calls. "

On my next attempt they did respond and were very helpful.
I think it may have been my fault I could not get through to them on my first phone/email attempt. My apologies.

Two local outfits told me to buy a new Apple computer but the guys at pcplanIT replaced my hard drive and my Mac is working beautifully. Thanks again.

Great store they have amazing customer service (escpecially Richard) and I was able to pick up some free parts to get me started on building my own computer!

I'm going to give them 5 stars although it probably should be 4. I had a HDD fail on my PC so went to PCPlan IT to replace it. The original estimate of 24-48 hrs blew out to double that mainly because they had trouble extracting data from my old drive and I'm sure the situation can vary a fair bit from PC to PC depending on how damaged the HDD is. The good news is that I got my PC back and everything is now humming along fine. However I did ask for a 1TB drive to be put in, as I am intending to do a fair bit of video work this year, but got a 250GB drive which is the same as being replaced. I only paid for a 250 so it's not as though I was overcharged but is annoyance #2. The good news is that a 250 will still be fine for the foreseeable future so "life is back to normal". The staff were at all times great to deal with and responsive and I can't fault them there - so five stars it is. If I have any future problems, I will definitely go there as at all times I felt they were open and honest which is what most people would want to see. I'd certainly recommend them.

After a series of issues with my laptop relating to emails, and many frustrating hours trying to sort out the problem myself I dropped into pcplanIT on Saturday morning. It took Alex less than ten minutes to resolve and fix my problems. Should have gone there when the problem first appeared. Great work. Very impressed

We had several companies attempt to solve our problems with continous ongoing issues. I called Alex, he arrived less than two hours later and offered us something that was twice as good and at a fraction of the cost others had suggested. Its been more than two months since we engaged his service. Not only have we saved a small fortune on IT, our system has never ran so well, so we have less IT errors now and staff productivity has increased as well as revenue. Alex is calm in his approach and explains it so that its easy to understand. Could not rate him highly enough.
