Pavilion Cafe & Bar

The counter was pretty rude and spoke in an unfriendly, condescending manner. Not sure if it was racism but did not feel comfortable and left as soon as we finished. What a shame, else the place was lovely with the view.

Great food and service, but noisy.not much good for older folks with hearing aids.they can't hear very well

Salty and expensive, but food was nice anyway generous size, the view into water was awesome because there were diving gannets the whole time, very entertaining view

Excellent coffees and the foods are simply amazing! We loved it!
Our son loved the thick pancake with ice cream and a strawberry milkshake. We also ordered The Pavilion and Eggs on Toast with additional mushrooms and hash browns for breakfast and enjoyed them very much. Only problem is the knife provided doesn’t cut the sourdough toast at all. Management should consider providing steak knife when sourdough bread is served.

Food & drinks are always good here though the graze plate was lacking imagination and variety! I make a better one at home - sorry! It was super hot in the main dining area also. When the fans were finally turned on, they didn't cover the area we were sitting in. Still worth a visit.

- it gave me the impression that they toasted bread way before as a "prep" for busier times. It was soggy and oily.

Food quality is fantastic, the fish is fresh and nicely done. All seafood ingredient are nicely match with each other. Friends who hardly ordered Seafood loves it too. Coffee is great. Location is perfect! Right next to the beach and trail. Will be visit again during my stay here.

Ate lunch here recently. Food was nice and service was quick. Was able to bring my dog for outdoor seating and a bowl of water was offered for him. Nice view of the beach.

Used to be a favourite.
Food definitely not what it used to be.
View seems to be only reason to go now.

Very busy place, I called ahead & made a reservation. Was seated promptly, asked if I wanted coffee and I ordered right away.
Food came before coffee. Wasn’t offered any water for the table. Several staff walked by and never checked in, until they saw an empty plate. Sourdough bread over toasted, I struggled to use the butter knife to cut the toast. Hollandaise sauce needs work, it was just melted butter. Overall I’ve had better service and food back home.

We had a nice and light breakfast in this lovely Cafe. Atmosphere was amazing and staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Don’t usually leave reviews, but as a Melbournian travelling down to the coast for the weekend, this was by far the best tofu scramble I’ve ever had. 11/10 vegan breakfast. Compliments to your chef

Rightly felt so healthy eating here, the mushrooms and avocado were so fresh and invigorating. Plenty of open space indoors and out with views of the ocean beyond the breakwall, Middle Island and the bay. Beautiful way to start our morning.
