Parkdale Beach Cafe & Kiosk

Cozy and nice place, it has tables on tha back with great view of the bay/beach.

I tried the Atlantic salmon which was delightful.

Service staff was excellent and timing was great.

Crowded. Not great service. Ok food. Location is great. I'd go back only for cuppa and location.

Been going here since 2011.brilliant, yesterday perfect service for bfast.today.couldnt accomodate a pram.outside where i sat yesterday.but looking at other reviews I appear to have met the racist one.as I was the only one that didnt match and 2 couples asking for outdoor table for 2 were let in after me. I was told I could sit at the council tables with takeaway, no help with the takeaway menu.left, cried at the beach and came home to feed my kids. Ive just moved back here and Im on permanent leave, I couldve brunched here EVERY DAY I love the cafe, love the location, love the waiter and waitress that helped me yesterday.but today.im scared to come back, felt so unwelcome.

Atrocious service, bird poo on table, three of four meals were not good and they got the order wrong. Four of us came in for brunch and our table had several bits of dry bird poo and bird poo stains stuck on it. We came in at 10 a.m. So it was obvious the table hadn't been properly wiped down that day and possibly longer. One of the group was happy with their meal, the other three were not. Two orders were for French Toast, one with maple syrup, one without. They both arrived with maple syrup and when we said 'one was without maple syrup' the waitress replied, 'Does it really matter, it's only a little bit'. Then she said 'If you change the order you'll have to wait quite a while'. The waitress that delivered the order was not the one that took the order (first waitress service was ok). The french toast was thick sliced brioche style that was dry and stale and there was no sign of having been dipped in egg wash. Both diners said it was dry and not nice and left most of it uneaten. Forgot to mention, despite inside tables being available, we were guided outside without even being offered an inside table. Nice location but won't be going back and have told friends and family about the 'service'.

Great location. Menu could have a few more options for lunch. Lovely staff. Full both times I have been.

Had various experiences there, there was an American sounding waiter, and she was lovely, however have experienced very off had service, and long waits

Awesome coffees and food. Love the seats outside. Very popular little place. Good to sit out on the beachside and watch the waves and people with their dogs walking by. Service has always been great for me.

Most times I have been there the service is quiet bleak and you feel like the one pleasing the staff. Today was a lovely girl that changed my mind. The view is lovely, food alright, coffee great! It's ok.

Went for coffee with 2 babies and a toddler, who was well behaved. The waitresses made us feel as though we were an inconvenience with our children there. The waitress who served us was very rude and was overheard swearing about another table of older customers. Food is average and overpriced. Don’t bother.

I personally like this beach quite a bit relative to the neighbouring ones, perhaps because it is not one of the most popular ones, and hence usually is comparitively less crowded. But it's quite liked by the locals I guess. Limited free parking available.
I think it's nice for a stroll or just sitting/lying on the beach, can't comment on the swimming experience though, since never tried myself.

2.5 stars. It used to be one of my fav places. I hadn't been there for a while.service went downhill. Someone had warned me abt it but tried for myself.

Love this section of the beach, great area nice and quiet! Loads of louder sections further up on the beach, this spot is perfect on a sunday!

What a cracking good place - million dollar views and location but with normal prices and superb quality food/coffee. I don't get there enough

I paid $7 for a cup of worst ice coffee I’ve ever had in my life. The ice coffee was served warm and tasteless. I couldn’t believe they didn’t put ice in it. Not impressed with customer service neither. The girl was unpleasant and rude. The staff definitely need trainings and improve customer service skills.

I am only giving this place one star because there is not a zero rating.
The short fat smelly unshaven Italian looking bloke with a powerful case of halitosis and dirty fingernails chopping up the food is quite possibly the worst kitchen hand I have ever seen anywhere.

This whole strech of beach from Mentone all the way to Mordialloc is great. Shallow, safe and clear water makes good for everyone to experience Port Phillip Bay. This time of year is the best.

Great beach, move closer to Mordialloc, as the beach floor is rocky and the sand sinks like quick sand.

I live in Mordialloc. This is my favourite go to cafe anytime. I bring friends and family here and it never disappoints. Friendly staff, yummy food and gorgeous beach views.
You have a choice to eat in or outdoors and also has a takeaway tuck shop.

I get great friendly service every time I eat there & usually get my favourite outdoor spot overlooking the beautiful beach. Highly recommended
