Park Street Pasta & Wine reviews
80The service was nice, the waiter is handsome and funny. However the food portion is small. We felt hungry after the dinner.
Very nice atmosphere, good pasta and wine. Cacio E Pepe a little too peppery for my tastes - quite a few whole peppers
How good it was! In addition the waiter is very nice, he comes from Belgium and very very welcoming: Gaspard Destilieux! I'll come back for sure!
Cute venue, lovely service and perrrfect al dente pasta. Seasonal menu. Ingredients and flavours incredibly fresh.
Have eaten here before and previously enjoyed the food. However last nights experience was different. We were part of a larger group and forced to take the "chefs selection" which I found to be bland, uninspiring and the plate sizes small. I left still feeling hungry and a little ripped off. Also beware that this restaurant adds an additional service charge to your bill which gave us a $120 surprise and the final insult. Not in a rush to return.
This place rocks. The staff are fantastic. The food is bang on. The wine list is on point.
Thanks guys for providing a great dining experience.
Drove past and thought, "this looks cool I've never been here. ". Pasta was very average and tiny portion (like kids size!) 2 glasses of wine. $72 bill. WOW, C'mon, for that? ! That's $72 of hard earned I'll never get back- absolute rip-off. Can get that $36 Pasta at my local twice as good and twice the size for $15.
My fiancé and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We had the chefs menu and everything was incredible. Excellent pasta dishes, pork meatball entree was delicious, and cocktails were lovely. Very attentive service. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
I love the atmosphere there. Favorite of the night was the panna cotta. Pasta was nicely made but for me it will be even better if they added in a little bit more flavor. Worth going especially for a date night.
Hidden gem. Incredible food, flavours & service. The team went above and beyond to make a 40th wedding anniversary incredibly special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed and intimate dinner.
Tiny meal portions! Very expensive! Cocktails definitely not there speciality and if the quality of food wasn't good, I would have given it a 1 star.
Excellent food, friendly and welcoming staff. A very pleasant experience. Alex the owner is absolutely awesome. My second visit and everything was on point.kudos to the team!
Lovely night out. We had the oysters, kingfish crudo, agnolotti, tagliatelle, and panna cotta for dessert. Everything was utterly delicious from start to finish, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was intimate and relaxed. Staff pleasant and efficient. Best to book ahead rather than attempt a walk in, as it's a popular spot.
After lustily following this restaurant on Instagram for ages, I finally was able to get down and was treated to what was possibly the worst dining out experience I’ve had in two years.
It’s difficult to guess if the undercooking of the potato in the octopus dish and the cauliflower in the side was intentional, or just shoddy workmanship from the kitchen.
The dishes lacked so severely in flavour that they had to be aggressively salted and to make them palatable.
The only redeeming factors about this experience would be the lovely setting, the presentation of the food, and the wine (the only thing not made by the restaurant).
Absolutely delightful Italian restaurant. Handmade pasta and masterful technique with the different types and sauces. I enjoyed the 'cacio e pepe' and a glass of a Grenache from Tuscany and would readily go back to try more.
Service was professional and attentive. Atmosphere was cosy and lively, overall a must try Italian restaurant in the area.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible dine in experience and the business took no responsibility or ownership of it. We came at a quiet time and they forgot about our main dish. Waited 45 minutes after the first entree to receive our mains, after chasing it up with the waiter. We asked him if it would be much longer as we had an important appointment to go to. We waited another 15 mins and all the mains come out raw/undercooked so it was quite obvious we were forgotten about. Our vegetables were so raw they tasted like they were tossed in the pan for a second and served. My pasta was so undercooked I would’ve sent it back if we could’ve waited but there was no time. You could not call this al dente, it was still white in the middle when you’d bite it, it was practically inedible. Not to mention, the sauce was literally flavourless. Im actually confused at how they think charging over $30 for undercooked bland pasta is acceptable. I bought attention to this with the restaurant later and they sent back a generic one sentence email of “we’re sorry you had this experience”.
Incredible staff, amazing food and wine. We ordered 5 mains between 4 and everyone loved it. Sam organised the food amazingly and was great on the wine suggestions also. A local favourite.
The food was absolutely beautiful. Tasty, fresh and well presented. The Staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The surroundings were lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will be coming again. 10/10
Really disappointing experience. I made a booking 4 Weeks in advance and it turns out they overbooked and just decided to cancel my booking with 2 hours notice and without any apologies. I don't understand the double standard here where I would have been charged if I cancelled last minute but the restaurant thinks it has the right to cancel without any reprucussion.
The best pasta I’ve had, hands down.
Entire experience was lovely - great cocktails, starters, and mains. I still cannot get over the delicious focaccia! We chose to share a few things and had the hardest time narrowing it down. Went with the fried cheese and scallops to begin with and then we shared the cacio e pepe and the agnolotti. Both were so fresh and tasty, and I couldn’t pick what I loved most.
Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Such a great spot and great staff.
Photos are a bit dark and don’t do it justice. Just goooooo!
