Park Street Pasta & Wine reviews
80The white rabbit ragu was absolutely heavenly. Our wonderful server offered complimentary champagne after finding out that my fiance had just proposed that afternoon. Overall a fantastic experience, will be returning very soon!
Went for a team dinner here and everything we had was soooo good! We ordered some appetisers to share (e.g. Oysters, burrata, carrozza (a dish with anchovies, yum!). Pappardelle and Mezzemaniche were the highlights. Absolutely delicious. I didn’t take photos as my friends did that on their end but I assure you everything was beautifully plated and tasty! Definitely coming back to try more dishes. Plus the ambiance and vibe was great for either a date or intimate group settings!
Fantastic food with really good cocktails (normally not a cocktail person). The service was excellent aswell, very friendly and attentive.
This place is a little gem in South Melbourne! The upstairs dining room has such a unique atmosphere.
The Agnolotti was so tasty, will definitely be coming back again ASAP!
I have had this place in my list for a while and wish I had come here earlier. The menu is divine. I shared a ravioli parmigiana which was to die for. And good wine list. Definitely give this place a try.
It was lunch time, and it was our first time at "park street pasta and wine". It is a local restaurant but I can say it was a local gem! They served a welcome plate that was Italian bread and cheese with infused oil. Really impressed me. I asked for their special and it was four cheese maccheroni with toasted caramelized walnut on it, it really love that. The second dish was duck and veal angolotti that its taste and amount didn't satisfied me, its sauce could be thicker and amount as well. Although my second plate was not what I expected, but their 4cheese maccheroni was as great as much that I will go back there taste other items as well. Their service lady were fully helpful, with smile that made me put 5 star out of 5 to this restaurant. Just two other thing. One is that it is not a cheap restaurant but reasonable price for me. (5 percent cheaper was better of course). At the last point, I should mention is that their cleanness in their toilet shows that every detail is important for manager and staff and that was important for me as well. Good job guys! See you soon. 100% recommend this restaurant.
Booked this place as we were in the area and saw that it had good reviews. I was happy with the service but the food did not meet our expectations - and didn't even get close. Entrees were not exciting. Oysters didn't seem very fresh. In my opinion, they are trying to be too fancy with the pastas and not really nailing the flavours. The pasta is served very Al dente which to some, may be great but again in my opinion, a little too Al dente. Then to top it off, carrot cake for dessert was average and what made it worse, was the passionfruit coulis on top. Lastly, we had some espressos that tasted like dirty water. Very dissatisfied and when the bill came in at $650 for 4 adults and 2 children ($200 on drinks), was even more disappointing.
Pleasant destination for lunch however my pasta did not live up to expectations. It was a little overcooked and average flavour. Staff and service were excellent
Fabulous pasta, authentic with simplicity creates a dish of perfection
Not much to ask, a simple pasta glass of wine. That's all you need for a satisfaction.
THAT WAS AMAZING! The pasta was great, steak was excellent and the Lasagna was also super tatsy.
The staffs specially Adian was super friendly and lovely.
We had also Tiramisu which was so fresh.
Highly recommended this place!
Beautiful old building. Delicious complimentary bread and butter. Kinda a highlight! Otherwise, pasta mains were small expensive portions. And I’m not sure my calamari and asparagus was inspired.
Great pasta. Great service. Attentive to individual needs. Room was a bit noisy so hard to have a conversation at times.
Nice flavours but very rushed service (from sitting down to out the door in 1 hour with 2 courses, even after specifically asking not to be rushed).
Tuna tartare was lovely, well balanced flavours.
Mains of duck agnolotti were ridiculously small serves for a “main” at that price.
Including a couple of drinks each - just under $200!
Luca and the team provide the perfect combination of excellent food, impeccable service and light hearted fun conversation.
Both the food and service is amazing! Have been coming here several times and Andrea has been our waiter every time. He does an outstanding job, and always makes us feel special. He knows how to read the atmosphere and makes each dining experience on fleek. The restaurant is cosy and intimate. One of my absolute favorites in Melbourne. Definitely recommend coming here. Thank you Andrea, my all time favorite waiter <3
On a beautiful sunny day very relaxing menu wasn’t large but everything we ordered was very nice would recommend one was excellent very relaxing and very enjoyable.
Delicious food, cozy ambiance, and delightful service. Our dinner experience at Park Street was nothing but wonderful.
Went here for dinner with friends and all the pasta and dessert dishes we ordered were so heart-warming, rich and tasty.
We ordered one pasta and one dessert dish each but shared it all. Highly recommend the sharing style so you get to taste a wider variety off their menu.
Food was not too bad, we ordered a couple of pasta which according to the staff was run out, but they could substitute that with another pasta with the same sauce - we were never told what the substitute pasta would be but was served anyway - came slightly over cooked but was edible. Service was horrendously slow as we waited 25 minutes before the drinks order was taken, and the staff was not attentive at all. We tipped over a glass of water by accident when there was literally a staff next to our table, and we not offered any assistance nor a napkin to wipe up the table.
Really nice and friendly service staff, they were so helpful. We were in a rush, they managed to serve the food very quickly and they were delicious.
Great ambience and wine, cozy inside on a dreary Saturday afternoon. Can’t wait to return for more.
