Nothing amazing but good portion size and nice and hot. I would have given more stars if i had received the sav.b. I ordered, not the moscato.

The food here is really really good! However, I recommend getting smaller serving sizes, as I find even the entrees there hard to finish

If you like super fancy small servings and reductions this is not the place for you, it is however incredibly wholesome and hearty and rich, by no means not good food.
Arrived promptly (10-15mins) free bread, very fast and good service
They use quality olive oil and the entree servings could feed most people (I am 6’2 inches and 95kg and barely finished a main)

Over all very wholesome and the family homely vibe which is risky in fancy town has paid off. See you soon Gino’s!

The staff are nice. Specially the nice Italian man who I believe is the owner. Food is not bad but not outstanding.

It’s a nice big place, you have outside seating as well. We had pasta and pizza here, lovved all of them. Food is amazing, and also they give good quantity for large. Beverages are comparatively less pricey and good too. Staff is very friendly and helping. Pizza was real thin crust and had good qty topping:)
Would definitely visit again, there are couple more things I would like to taste here. Even vegetarians have options here. You can select the sauce n pasta n request for customisation.

Great prompt service from friendly wait staff. Good tasting pizza with crispy crust. There is a reason it is always busy there.

The pizza is loaded with ingredients with a thin pastry that holds up without collapsing when you eat with your hands. Delicious pizza as usual.

Wonderful place to eat! A great menu and overall excellent tasting food. A must-try if you're in the city. The salt is a bit lacking, but shouldn't ruin your experience here.

Ambience was really good. Pizzas were delicious. Customer service was excellent. Only thing that I feel needs improvement is extra room between tables.

Delicious, good value traditional Italian food in a lively venue that's oddly & pleasantly not as loud as it seems. Take or leave the sweets but the pizza & pasta is hearty enough you may not need them. Staff have always been great to us, it'll always be a regular haunt for us before or after a film at the Nova.

Just ordered from here through Uber eats. When I received my food the pizza was stone cold and the pasta piping hot. Even though the pasta was hot to tasted disgusting. I ordered the carbonara, there was no “sauce” and it had scrambled egg in it. Asked if they could please make the bacon crispy, because that’s how I like it, it had bearly seen a fry pan. So, I call them, ask for a refund because it’s $30 worth of inedible food, they say I have to call Uber to get a refund.

Traditional Italian restaurant with cosy authentic feel. Friendly staff. Food portions are very generous and taste are reasonable - otherwise nothing to shout about. Great place for those looking for good value for money

One of the best pizza restaurants going especially in Lygon Street to have a Pizza. My mate has known the owner for many years. He new staff as well. Friendly and food delicious. Toilet is just out the back. No need to book. Even though it was busy on a Sunday, there was no problems getting seating. Traditional Italian feel in the interior. Recommend this Pizza restaurant, to anyone looking to have a meal in Carlton.

Dining was very busy. Overall experience was ok but was let down by the service. Had to find a waiter to order drinks and food. Never saw a waiter again so didn't bother trying to order more drinks. Average experience, would recommend elsewhere.

Eating here is like watching every Rocky movie, hanging out with Robert Deniro and watching The Sopranos all wrapped into a tasty meal. Large portions and friendly staff.
