Highly recommend making a booking as they are mostly busy, otherwise the longest wait I have experienced is about 25 minutes:)

Tasty cantonese. Scallops with ginger and spring onion was the bomb. Szechuan beef was a little tame. Half roast duck was exceptional. Service was bad i kept trying to make eye contact. It took 15 minutes to get myself a beer then another ten to order. After that the food arrived very rapidly. I would think the scallops would have been served first as they need to be eaten quickly to be at their best. They came last.

Taste just like authentic Cantonese/ Hong Kong pier style restaurants.
Favourites are stir fried pipis in xo sauce with crispy Chinese donuts, clay pot pork belly, fried duck and yam patty.

Great food. Best is their bbq meats especially roast duck. Will go again.bit on pricey side but will worth it. Service is fast as well.

Ordered roast pork on rice, the portion of rice is so little, (less than half of take away container with tiny pieces of roast pork. Cut throat restaurant. Not worth the money

I normally dine in the west or CBD, so have not been to the Pacific. I told my partner that I was craving chinese, and she suggested here.

I must tell you I was so impressed. Staffs were attentive and friendly, greeted and seated us almost immediately.

The food wasn't too pricing, but the quality was great. We had the duck, soya chicken and pipis.

I loved every dish.

This place is a complete ripoff. I ordered quarter roast duck and 400 grams of crispy skin pork. When I got them they were cold, so I mentioned this, HE was going to put them in the microwave to heat up. I said forget about it, and he just returned it to me. I got home to find I had 200 grams of crispy skin pork and was clod and not cooked,,

Rip off rip off rip off////

Strongly recommend crispy roasted pork. The skin was so crispy and the meat was tender and flavorful that will leave you no regret!

Pacific Seafood BBQ in South Yarra is my favourite Chinese restaurant in town. We used to live in South Yarra and frequented the place. Now we live a little further away but make it a point to go if we are craving good Cantonese food. Service is super attentive, quality of seafood is great, and it's BYO! You have to know what to order to fully appreciate this restaurant. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne overall as well.

One of the best Chinese restaurants outside of city at very reasonable prices. Specialises in BarBQ pork and duck, dishes but all dishes are great. Seafood dishes are a little more expensive but lash out if you wish. Live tank to select from. You won't be disappointed!

Maybe we ordered the wrong thing.we tried the calamari with morning glory but wee underwhelmed.

Good honest food with good quality and price. What else do you need? Yes - good service and clean too! Hard to be disappointed unless you don't like eating.

Some may not like this place but I do. A thoughtful lady at the front counter saw my recycle bag torn and so she offered me a new one. Many customer walked in whilst I was dining there seem to like chatting with the the staff. Like neighbourhood supporters!
Never stingy giving me the chilies oil which I think it’s one best around with crispy anchovies in it. It’s become my usual place after I started working nearby.

Food is really good but we have dine there with two groups and both dont get everything that were originally ordered. Seems like they are rushing to close out.

Loved our dining experience at Pacific Seafood BBQ House South Yarra recently. We arrived in two groups for our booking (large booking). We ordered as soon as we arrived as we knew exactly what we wanted. The roast duck was delicious, the spring rolls were tasty, the tea was hot and plentiful. The staff for our table was very attentive and when asked questions about the dishes was very knowledgeable in his answers. Great service and food, we will be back. Shame about the lack of parking in the area though.

Went as a party of three, on a Wed night. Had a very enjoyable time shared over a selection of different dishes. Friendly staff who were very attentive. Will be back again soon for sure!

You often don't get the best 'western' service but Pacific seafood house in South Yarra definately was good. Very attentive staff and food was tasty. You can't go past the fresh lobster with noodles with ginger and shallots if you'd like to spend some cash.
