Most reliable old-school HK Classic, Pacific House is one of only two in Melbourne that I can always depend on. We've been coming here for years, often when I feel a bit delicate and need some congee love - which Pacific House always delivers.

We love their BBQ meats too - always leave with a box each of extra crispy roast pork and char siu - so good even when cold.

My favourite is Water Spinach (aka Tong Choi, Kangkong or Water Convolvulus) which comes piping hot and a generous serve.

If you're after *good* Cantonese food, Pacific House is the place. Come early though, because they get busy! I just wish they would open late so that we can come for supper. Oh well.

Authentic Cantonese food. Price is reasonable and portion is quite big. However please don't expect good service and dinning space is quite small. Make sure to book as it get really busy on peak hours.

Seriously. It’s fine to pay weekend service fees, but it just doesn’t make sense that restaurant charges 15% and not capped, it means the more you spend, the more extra charges you pay? Restaurants already make more profit by customer spending more, by charging additional fees on top, that’s just double dipping.

Left waiting for delivery…1/2 late
Easi delivered incorrect order
No satisfaction with restaurant
Fobbed off to Easi…. Out of pocket still $105…. Terrible service and customer care

Fantastic food, huge portions and great value, what more can you ask for?
My friend and I have our monthly meet up here quite often and we can’t get enough of it. The sweet and sour pork is incredible and Singapore noodles are our favorites. Make sure you book in advance as this place gets busy at dinner time.

妈呀,这个收银大妈真的有够粗鲁的。我买了一份叉烧外带,我拿一盒外卖的酱油,然后我问切卤味的大叔,说“can I take one? ” 然后他点头。这时候,收银大妈直接过来打掉我的手,说“you can’t take whatever you want”。我惊呆了,这是你们对待顾客的态度??可以说是墨尔本两年最差的的服务人员了,什么意思嘛?!

My God, this cashier woman is really rude. I bought a char siu to go, I took a box of takeout soy sauce, and then I asked the uncle who cuts the food, "Can I take one? " Then he nodded. At this point, the cashier came straight up and knocked my hand off, saying, "You can't take whatever you want. " I'm fking shocked. This is how you treat your customers? Can be said to be the worst experience in Melbourne ever since!

The food is good but unfortunately we won’t comeback if the floor staff remain the same. Their attitude is just unbelievable for hospitality.

The lunch specials are best deals in town, in terms of varieties, size, quality n price. If budget is not an issue, go after the live seafood. Roasted meat n a la carte dishes r reasonably priced. No hesitation to recommend.

My go to Chinese roast place. Hit or miss at times with freshness and portion size. A bit disappointed they’ve removed the brisket and tendon noodle soup from the menu. However, have not found a better alternative in the area so I’ll continue coming here.

After trying so many dishes, I am yet to find something I don't like. The staff at Pacific Seafood BBQ House continues to go above and beyond to accommodate my special dietary needs & taste preference. I must say my absolute fave is the delectable steam live barramundi with ginger & scallion. Compliment to Chef and kind staff. Til next time

The food is quite pricey. A bowl of white rice costs $4 for example. They try really hard to upsell you their really expensive dishes.

Service is average, and they’ll kick you out earlier if they have to so they can fit the next group even though you have a booking.

Don’t think we will return.

Perfect roast meat in this traditional Hong Kong style restaurant. Salted egg yolk prawns are huge and big flavors. Super tasty and crunchy outside. Mushroom and veggie taste really good. Lots of tables inside as well as big tables. Price are average in this area. Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Very convenient with public transport. Walking distance from train station and tram stop.

Went to pacific seafood bbq house at 210 toorak down the road from our Airbnb…on 16.4.2022

ordered 1/2 roast duck A$30
&
spicy black bean sauce prawn tanhoon A$40

roast duck was disappointing much below par (best not to have high expectations hahaha).

nothing like London roast duck or any good restaurants in singapore.or JB roast duck.quite far off actually.just mediocre passable.the prawn tanhoon was good.prawns were bouncy and sweet.tanhoon was tasty… too spicy but they highlighted 3 chillies nothing we cannot handle but overly spicy doesn’t make a good dish.the place very popular & at 5.45pm already almost full.by 6pm basically full & turnover was brisk so good for them

i think overall should be good but must order right dishes (roast duck not one in my opinion) and 3 or more pax better so can share more dishes…
