Oz Tenpin Ballarat reviews
33I had more fun than I expected here. I'll make my way back and get some practice so I can beat my workmates. I think some of them must be Pros.
Staff were extremely friendly, prices were perfect for a game of bowling and they were following good COVID practices, would definetly come back here
Very clean facilities. Closely follows COVID-19 capacities and cleaning. The lanes themselves are old, but function without any trouble, while the screens give a retro feeling. I do recommend this place, but most people don't have a choice because it's the only place to bowl in Ballarat, but still an excellent time.
Great service, staff are lovely.
Phone quality is pretty average though. Called and thought I was talking to a swarm of bugs.
5 star because the lady at the counter was super super nice. I was there with 3 little children all under 5.she was super helpful.
They could have more food options and a liquor licence would be nice.
Overall, Nice experience.
We had a good time. The place was clean, the food both smelled and tasted delicious.
The fees are fair, but some of the balls need a cut and polish.
My only real gripe, and a minor one at that, would be the parking. It was hard to find a spot near by, and the car park could be signed better.
All in all, we came away feeling positive and would happily go back again, so you do the same.
Good fun accommodated for my 4 yo with a light ball and he had a blast. Then they turned on the disco lights and he loved it.
The bowling alley is small and quaint. I really liked the old computers, the vibe is pretty retro and cool. They play old hits such as songs from the early 2010's-2000's.
Although the Food and arcade is overpriced.
Awesome fun and so much to do under the one roof! Haven't been bowling for ages and really had a blast. There's not a lot you can do with a group of friends that comes at such a good price tag. Very much a family atmosphere and lots of lanes means you won't have to wait long. Best idea is to book ahead and enjoy a few games. Lots of deals if you play more than one or two games and food and drink is what you'd expect.
Run down and decrepit. Bumpers are not optional - was told "If you don't want them, don't hit them". Lanes have clear slant, balls don't go straight. Kid's helping ramp was bent. Drink machine is exact change only. Faded 1980's style monochrome scoring monitors. Lower your expectations, then lower them some more, then expect to pay modern bowling lane prices anyway.
Great entertainment at a good price, but the place it's self is a bit run down, I know perhaps that's the look the bowling alley is going for but it needs to update and get with the times. Felt like I'd gone back 20 + years in time. Shoes and alleys are kept extremely clean and in good order though, so it doesn't hamper the entertainment.
Is a nice bowling place and is great for party's, I rated it 3 stars because it kept acting up during play
Had an 80's theme dress up function with DJ and pizza. Was a great night with Oz Tenpin bowling Ballarat
