Oval Motel Bendigo

Very clean and great service. We had the last room which slept 4. We found the bed comfortable but a bit small as we are used to a queen. Great shower plenty of pressure. Nice to have a toaster and kettle too. Would stay again.

Stayed for 1 night and the accommodation was neat and clean for an older style room. It was a tight fit for 3 people and no dining table, but was comfortable for a short term stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only down side would be the busy road out front and the noise from cars. If we return, we would request a room towards the back of the motel

Surprisingly great for such a budget price. Rooms were updated, clean and comfy beds, well decorated, microwave etc supplied. Great hairdryer. Aircon was quiet. Reception staff were lovely. Location was ok, walking distance to main areas if you’re the type that goes in for that. (I am not).

The hosts Carolyn & Gary are so very accommodating to every request. We stay every year to attend a sporting event & the motel is close to everything, clean, has all basic amenities, great shower & comfy beds. See you next April.

Excellent. All sparklic cleaned. Very hygienic. It is older building but well maintain. Very good modern decorated bed, big screen TV, fridge, microwave, plaits, cutlery and good size bathroom.

I was quite happy on arriving and until I left in the morning. But shortly after leaving I realised I had left some money behind on returning to the room the cleaners had cleaned up the room. I checked for my money and it was gone.
I tried to talk to the owners but they were very rude and were starting to get aggressive with me. I left and then returned a bit later hoping we could talk like adults and sort my missing money out but again I was meet with aggressiveness.

We have stayed at this hotel a handful of times, Gary and Carolyn are so lovely. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and they always go out of there was to make you feel welcome. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM

Excellent place to stay a night in Bendigo. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and well priced. Plenty of space to park a large truck on the road out the front.

Great little motel that was comfortable, central to alot of things. Dining very close with The Rising Sun Bistro Pub (A+) & The Rifle Brigade Pub. Close to hospital & CBD.
The rooms were clean with a dated funky look with dated amentities but adequate. Single bed mattress was broken on one side & bowed rm 11 which caused an uneven sleep but aside from that it was a good stay. Excellent owners!

The facilities are pretty modern for a dated building. Beautiful rooms and lovely service. Little touches like make up remover in the bathroom don’t go unnoticed. Definitely would stay again if I end up in Bendigo again!

Great budget rooms, spotlessly clean, comfy beds and everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Easy check in/out process and very friendly people. Highly recommendation for this lovely motel!

Lovely place to stay room was very nice and clean staff were very friendly Gary and Caroline were very good we had late check in no complaints close to main centre very reasonably priced definitely would stay again

Lovely little place in the near heart of Bendigo. Fabulous value and run by a very pleasant couple. Clean and really tasteful decor. I’ll be back and so will my employees.

A wonderful budget motel in a fantastic central position. Traditional late 1950s motel with a surprise pop of style inside with contemporary bedding and super comfortable bed (room 16). Very clean and tidy room. Warm and friendly hosts. Cheap and very cheerful.

A fantastic little motel just off the main street. Late check in wasn't a problem and the rooms were very clean and comfortable for a family of 5. Staff were great and very welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay at the Oval Motel. The location was perfect for local restaurants and the theatre, we only wished we had more time to explore more. The room was clean, bed comfortable and we were lucky enough to be in a room with artwork from our home town!
Yes it’s a little dated but we like quirky and it’s in good condition

Gary and Carolyn were superstars! Very down to earth and super friendly.
The motel location was perfect. We walked into town. It's close to everything!
Our beds were comfy, the room was lovely and clean. Would DEFINITELY stay again.
