Original Wood Oven Pizza Geelong

I've been coming here for many years. Sad to see the food quality and service dropping.
Long wait to take our order and a longer wait to even get our 2 drinks.
To be fair though it is Geelong cup day.

But. I would think walk in customers paying full price would take get priority over phone orders and deliveries.
And also I do believe the quality of the ingredients has been cut. Cheaper pizza ham, small chicken fillets for Parmi, yellow lettuce.
I think they could do better.

Working late, called in on spec on way too apartment as not many options for food Great pizza. Plenty of of customers in 10: 30pm on a Wednesday night, says it all really. Good value food and drinks

The ordering was soo slow it took them an hour to make my friends, then another half for my own. The food was horrible. The place was practically empty. They even forgot my mums order which was just bread. For the bread they even took a whole 40 minutes to make it. DO NOT GO HERE

Don't order on line and expect to get good service. They wait until you actually arrive (after telling you it will be ready in 20 minutes) before they even prepare the pizza. Misrepresentation at its best. Worst of all they admitted the practice. Never again.

Ordered takeaway from this place. 60 minute wait OK but then was 30 minutes late. And when it did arrive the base was super soggy and the seafood in it included one piece of off-tasting calamari. So that sucked. Won't be ordering from again.

Good space for group dinning. Excellent meal options, staff are nice and polite. I highly recommend wood oven pizza.

Restaurant decor and toilets could be a lot better. Meals were ok, service was nice and polite, took around half an hour to get meals.

A diverse menu for all your taste buds. The chicken souvlaki was my highlight food. I highly recommend Woodoven if you’re in the mood for a chicken souvlaki.

The food was decent and it wasn't too busy when we were dining, which is why I am at a loss as to why it took well over an hour for our order to arrive.

Fantastic service, we were from nz having dinner with my sister and partner who is a long term dinner, i think people dont know good food and service when they see it, i have had a great pizza, and it wasnt a problem to add extra on it yes you do pay for extra but it was delious will definitly visit again when over from nz

Ordered a lasagna chips and chicken pizza on their recommendation. The chicken in the pizza was smelling bad and the bread base was easily coming off, indicating that the pizza bread and the topping were old. The lasagna which was priced at 18 dollars was cold at the bottom and small in size, although chips were fresh. When i complained about this at the counter, the chef or owner did not agree to my concerns.

Best pizzas in town.thin crispy base.not to much on top.yummo! Drink are at a reasonable price.

An unassuming, simple old fashioned pizza place with a good range of pasta dishes too.

Not the best quality pizza in town. Think they may need a new knife too, the pizzas weren't cut through very well. Had to re cut at home.

Horrible customer service. Lady that answered the phone shouted at me when i said the food was horrible and i wanted a refund. Sent the driver back to get the food and no garuntee of refund.
My chips tasted as if they were microwaved. Parma was terrible chicken was dry but crumbs n cheese were soggy.
Also took 95 minutes to be delivered.

Disappointed with cold and tough steak that took over two hours to deliver. Not the first time that delivery from this place has let me down.

Food was delicious and service was top notch they even gave me a doggy bag to take home. Best burger I've ever tasted
