William was very helpful regarding my cat door installation. He did an excellent job and he was lovely to deal with. My cat took under a week to get used to her new cat door. Would highly recommend and use again.

We had a cat flap installed in a window. My intial request for a quote was not answered (probably because of xmas holidays!) but my followup call was answered and William came the same day to quote on the spot. Pricing is transparent but dependent on glass thickness which could not be established until cut. The cat flap was more than twice the retail price on the internet, it was not clear if that price includes installation or if the glass cutting includes the installation. Nonetheless, the total price was competitive with other quotes. Other quotes did include the full replacement of the glass panel with a pre-cut hole rather than cutting a whole in an existing mounted window. There was a risk that our glass panel could break during the installation but William was very kind to inform us before proceeding to insure we were aware of the risks. Overall William took a lot of care, worked very professionally and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. Would recommend Ometek for any glass repair work.

Out of a busy schedule William found the time to assist us with an "in glass" dog door installation recently.
He was able to handle our very thick 12mm laminated large balcony glass panel in our 19th floor apartment. He installed the "Pettek" acrylic dog door. Appearance is excellent. Its not a cheap exercise to get this done but beats options of panels inserted into sliding doors hands down and superior long term solution.
Clean up was good, attitude friendly.
If you want to get it right and not cut corners with quality kf outcome then recommend William at Ometek.

Called this guy about some louvre glass i needed to change from clear to opaque, when he found out all i wanted was 4 pieces of glass it was obvious he couldn't be bothered. Said he had to go and would call me back and never did!
Went to Moreland Glass who gave me excellent service, more choice (in different kinds of opaques) and didn't care how many panes i needed.
