Old Man Pho Airport West - Vietnamese Restaurant

The experience is unappealing as there was literally no service. Especially for my first time when I don’t know what to order, instead of providing a suggestion, they ask me to move aside so they can serve next customer.
The crispy pork that I had was very crispy, which can be good to some, but for my critical taste bud, I find it very tough. The meat inside was tasteless, but tender. The sauce had a decent taste but no real punch.
The pho noodle had a very different texture to other pho eateries that I’ve had. The broth was nice but I felt too much oil on my lips. There was a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. The beef brisket was cut too thick and felt dry.
The grilled chicken in the Banh mi had no flavour, although they marinated it.
The veggies that I tasted wasn’t the freshest, prob a day old.
Overall, it was a sad experience. Hopefully they improve the next time I visit.

Dishes we love are the marinated chicken pho, grilled pork on rice and also the grilled chicken on rice.
Servings are great and food always tasty and hot, even if ordered via delivery service.
