We went to see the Continuous Line exhibit and it was sensational. It was nice and quiet so we could take the time to appreciate the pieces.
The garden is lovely to wander through too

Great venue great markets though it does get muddy in winter but people are in car park to guide you not to park in the mud A+

Had our daughter's 18th birthday party in a large function room. The venue was ideal for this event.

What could have been a disaster was completely resolved by the most caring and understanding staff member today!

I’m 35 weeks pregnant with our first and my husband and I have been so excited for our Baby-Q this weekend especially because our last big event, our wedding, we had to be restricted with who we were able to invite because of covid. We have been planning games, food, decorations to celebrate our first little boy for weeks now!

I went in to pay the deposit and have a quick sneaky peak at The Chapel which we hired for about 70 guests.

As soon as I walked in I realised I made a mistake! It holds up to 80 standing but I didn’t consider room to move around, play our games, grazing platter, decorations ect! They say baby brain is real and I can vouch for that after today!

I went straight into the office and sat down and balled my eyes out thinking I was going to have to un-invite our family or friends or somehow make it work because it’s going to be raining all weekend so we wouldn’t even be able to go outside.

The lady, I forgot her name twice being so emotional, She helped me calm down and straight away helped us look at other options.

She was able to book us in the Function Room and we only have to move our event 30 minutes earlier to accomodate for us.

I don’t know what I would have done if it wasn’t for her.really! I would have gone home crying and been upset dreading our event but now I’m even more excited because the venue we booked at is even more special now!

You can book in at any venue but the care and how accommodating they are here can make all the difference just days out for your event in the case of a mistake like mine.

I hope the lady that helped me today reads this because I want to say thank you again for being so compassionate and understanding. You were such a blessing! And have made this so much more special for us. So utterly grateful for how kind and caring you were!

Pleasant grounds, historic buildings, nice food and drinks, great playground for the kids. Also a great farmers market on second & fourth Saturdays of the month.

Booked the gazebo area for a family birthday and you pay for the use. You get use of chairs and tables so you don’t have to bring to much stuff. The gazebo area is quite large and has plenty of room for 20 people easily.

Beautiful garden and interesting historical place should be added to the list for a day walking. It’s great plan for a visit in every 2nd Saturday as local market is open next to the garden.

Nice area to look at old buildings (can be hired by public) and with a Secret Garden that can be used by all abilities with different plants and flowersto see. Free BBQs (2) near play equipment that has covered area with bench only and another behind buildings with gazebo covering bbq.

The gardens were beautiful. Lovely venue for any special occasion. My first time visiting after living locally for over 20 years. I was very impressed.

Absolutely stunning atmosphere. So much space for family picnics. Lovely kids playground. Really appreciated the pop up cafe. It's a must visit for those with kids!

Love this place! Great facilities, beautiful gardens, toddler friendly playground. Public toilet and baby change amenities. Many different facilities available and spaces to hire for functions/events.

Good children's playground, various groups meet there (including playgroup). The original full-service Cafe closed down some time. Currently there is a temporary pop-up Cafe offering limited takeaway menu. Some tables and chairs outside, shaded from sun but not rain-proof.

I visited this place to take some photos for my friend, who wanted them to promote her clothes brand. Loved the beautiful locations for photography. Staff was very friendly and helpful and showed us around and gave us some tips about best locations to take photos.

I'm one of the members of the Berwick art society, And we have our art room on the property of the Old Cheese Factory. We are really lucky to be able to be apart of this beautiful place.

Nice small place for walking, and secret garden and vegetable patch is always a hit. Beautiful gardens, large playground and nice open space for picnics

Such a beautiful place with a good playground for kids, both adults and children can enjoy, good spot for picnic and family gathering
