Okami (Craigieburn) - Japanese All You Can Eat

Ate here last Sunday evening on a 7.45pm booking, really good place had this sushi bento (pictured), through the 3 male patreons in the cubicle next to ours were making racist remarks of our background which made it awfully uncomfortable.

Lovely food, the service is outstanding. Was a bit apprehensive and was so pleasantly surprised by the food management systems and wait staff. You cannot walk past the carpaccio, gyoza, sushi. We also ordered miso steak, chicken Katsudon and Yakiniku beef. The latter was quite fatty. Great value for money, top it off with a warm sake. Kampai!

The all you can eat menu is sub standard to the regular menu.
Whilst it is nice enough, it's not as good as what you order individually.
The all you can eat is expensive for sub standard selections.
Service was good, although at one point they forgot or next selections and it took us 45 minutes to realise and tell them.
Restaurant is clean, bathrooms are clean, staff are friendly, however, next time I won't be ordering all you can eat, I'll just order from the regular menu

Amazing food and customer service. I really felt the need to write a review on how hard the staff work. They go above and beyond in ensuring their customers are taken care of. It was very disappointing to witness some customers being rude to the staff just because they could. I witnessed a female staff member tearing up from being screamed at by a customer. We should all be taking care of each other through this pandemic. I think all hospitality staff have gone through so much trying to to keep their jobs with all the lockdowns. All I can say is treat people how you would like to be treated. The customer is not always right as they think. The female staff was doing a great job. Well done.

My eyes are bigger than my stomach. Next time I’m going to starve myself 2 days before coming back. Good delicious

Worst okami I’ve been to & I’ve been to many around Melbourne.
Every food that came out was cold! Staff aren’t attentive. Overall bad experience. Won’t be returning.

Very overpriced for what you get. Would have expected better quality when paying $36.90 a head (plus 10% surcharge for being a public holiday) Chicken in the teriyaki was just boiled with a little teriyaki sauce on it which seemed to be the same for the teriyaki beef. Squid salad was tasty though and so were the noodles. Staff didn't seem to listen twice when ordering sushi as we ordered nigiri only to get sushi platter twice.

Food and service was very good, great ambience, only negative was parking, not easy to find a spot, and difficulty in leaving the facility as the second session patrons refused to wait outside and queued in the foyer, so the only way out was to push through the waiting crowd.

Great food, fresh and very tasty. Fast efficient and friendly service. Been there before and will be back again.

First time we have been to Okami Craigieburn and my hubby and i really enjoyed the variety of food and the quick service and lovely polite staff.we had been told that Okami were great now I've experienced them i highly recommended them.thank for a lovely meal.

Amazing katsudon. We ordered online for pickup. Clean store. Amazing customer service. We were greeted with a smile and and our food came promptly. I will recommend this to anyone who wants to know a good takeaway. Meal sizes are good. And the prices are reasonable. We will be back again! Easy parking and a generous inside eating area.

We ordered the all you can eat as a takeaway option and the amount of food was very generous with all the favourites. We real enjoyed the good food.

I didn't even know about this place, as we've been stuck in lockdown, and I was craving Takoyaki like crazy! Uber Eats to the rescue! You will not be disappointed at all! Food was amazing! Everything arrived fast, hot and super tasty! I also got an order of Chicken Katsu and that was great too! Thank you for being my Takoyaki saving grace! If I could give you more stars, I would! 100% will eat here again!

I've eaten at 3 other Okami branches and was very excited that one had opened up in Craigieburn! When social restrictions were relaxed, five of us had dinner there. Food was fantastic - freshly cooked and hot, tasty and the variety was excellent. All you can eat for the affordable price of $35. Customer service was great and the decor was nice. Good distancing from other customers! We found the music a tad loud which meant we had to talk loudly but overall, great experience.

My husband and I ordered the 10 course take away set menu and it was amazing! The amount of food you received for only $30 was very generous and the quality of food was out of this world. We have already recommended it to our family and friends and can't wait to go back for a dine in experience when we are able to (post covid-19). Well done Okami

Very very very happy with our first taste of Okami Craigieburn! Even though we had to get takeaway (due to the virus) we were very impressed with everything. The food is lovely and I can't wait until we can eat in the restaurant.
