Okami (Camberwell) - Japanese All You Can Eat

It’s one of my favourite restaurants. I used to have dinner there 1-2 times a month. Most dishes are good. But the two new dishes aren’t good taste, they are Arabiki Sausage and Spicy Ika.

A fantastic venue for any occasion! The variety and quality of the food is exceptional!

The staffs are nice and friendly. The price is reasonable for adults and kids. The food is good. Some portions are served a lot.

Recommend to come at Okami Camberwell.

Frozen food! The edamame had mold on it and some goo on the side. The staff were nice but they didn’t tell us we needed an ID to prove that my daughter was 12 until the end of our meal; if I would’ve known i would have come back another day with identification or gone to the sushi place across the road with nothing but the highest quality sushi and sashimi. Sure it’s all you can eat but this store has it backwards, they have quantity over quality, the beef was clearly frozen and overcooked. ABSOLUTE SCAM! Did I mention the edamame was also microwaved after being defrosted.the Ice cream was definitely not fresh as it had ice flakes and icicles inside and on the outside of the scoop, if had clearly been frozen in that position. NOT WORTH THE MONEY

First and last time id ever go to this place lasted 5 minutes go sat upstairs in the world's worst room was packed with full tables of ten and few others could not hear your self think let alone what person I was with was saying we asked to be moved down stairs where there was spare and was refused so I left never again do not waste your time maccas is better

That is too much difference when you order first plate and second plate. It's a buffet but they don't seem to want you to keep ordering more food

You can never go wrong with okami in Camberwell. Prompt serving when when order your food. High quality service along with the amazing food. Im always requesting at least 3 plates of carpaccio just for myself. It is delicious!

Great food and service. The private room created a real atmosphere and experience. The food just kept coming on! Good value for money! Definitely will go back.

So delicious and such great value. I went with a group of friends and we tried a bit of everything on the menu. They will cook to order so all the food comes piping hot and fresh. We especially enjoyed the steak, prawns and fried rice. End the meal with green tea ice cream! We left so incredibly full and happy.

We had takeaway and the food was very good but everything came in plastic including the bags. Most places use cardboard/foil containers and paper bags. Won’t be ordering again unless they reduce the plastic.

Service and food were great and speedy, lots to choose from and quite a few gluten-free options.

This is by far our favourite restaurant and favourite Okami in melbourne - Food is always at the highest quality brought out on time, service is prompt and professional!

Ordered the takeaway deluxe set (approximately 2 AYCE serves priced @ $80) to share between 5. We found that this was plenty of food. We also ordered the teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu mains. The overall quality was average and comparable to your standard Japanese takeaway style.

Food is quite nice, plenty of variety. During busy times it can be a bit hard to order more food to make sure to order enough to keep you going for a while (but not too much).

Second to visit. Great first time. But disappointed on second visit. We were served under cooked (raw) chicken near the end of our service. Ruined our evening. No apologies from management. A "mild" sorry about that from person at till.

Great food, small portions but you can have more. It’s all you can eat. I recommend you try as much as you can and if you have room Re-order the ones you liked. Food comes quite quickly, service was great and you need to book. We went to Camberwell so I can not comment on the others.

It was really bad. From the service, basically throwing the plate on the table to the food. We arrived around 7.20 PM it took almost 80 minutes to deliver 3 plates, of course they were staggered. They served us so badly, I am not complaining about the PH surcharge but the very low quality of the food, we left hungry a "all you can eat restaurant " a Japanese restaurant that apparently doesn't want you to order sushi.
Please do a favour to yourself, avoid this place.

Very busy on Sunday night. Everyone checked in on arrival. Staff were very efficient and polite. All you can eat for $34 and the food was very good. Great place to catch up casually with friends, we brought a couple of bottles of wine with us. Always good to finish with green tea ice cream.

Booking is essential!

Great buffet at an affordable price, loved the seafood tempura and teriyaki beef steak.
