Absolutely horrendous experience. Although there was alot of people in your store, the security guard seemed to want to target me. He was literally behind me everywhere i went for 30mins. He was basically shopping with me. When i noticed him i made it extremely obvious i had no intention of shoplifting, i had a basket, i didnt reach into my bag, only once to get my phone out. I had a short summer dress on and had to keep covering myself to grab the items i needed as he was right there glaring. The most uncomfortable situation i have experienced shopping. The anxiety of being watched whilst trying to decide what i wanted was horrible. He waited for me to pay and then demanded to search my bag. I understand store policy and really dont mind at all having my bags searched but to be stalked and harassed/glared at the entire time and then still searched in front of everyone else. Ridiculous. And i was the only one he seemed to want to bag check. Get a new security guard as that was blatant harassment.

Officeworks should be commended for having such a well stocked range of art supplies at this location.
This store has a large variety of art materials such as paints, pencils, brushes, and accessories.

They do lack and decent fine art paper range though, besides basic sketchbooks and paper pads.

Waited in line to get some photos printed. Then told by staff to use the self service station. I tried 7 times to print my photos but the job was unsuccessful due to a server error that that staff knew about but failed to tell me. I was then told to use the online “click and collect” option, after completing that followed over an hour wait for my 6 photos.

Next time I’ll buy a printer and do it myself to save my will to live.

Had my gentle giants (greyhounds) tethered in the airlock area. Sian told me to remove them immediately as greyhound are racers that bite. Seriously? Stupid person has no idea at all. Following up with corporate as this person is a disgrace to the business. Angry unprofessional and clearly clueless.

Poor management and uncaring staff. I was waiting on a job that was due a week before and had to visit multiple times for this to eventually be done. Was kept waiting for an hour and a half and staff were completely unapologetic. Management were also rude namely Sian who would not listen at all to the situation I tried to explain.

I needed a few photos printed today, I was lucky Ethan was there to help. He was patient and super helpful, top notch customer service. Much appreciated!

I'm a frequent shopper, and happy enough with staff and service.
BUT.
What's really annoying is when the checkout staff start begging for donations for "good causes". Really gets me, like its some kind of social blackmail.yeah, annoying.

Printing service queue is exceptionally long with multiple staff behind the counter standing around chatting.

Seems this service can be optimised.

Otherwise great store layout etc.

Great parking and great location. A huge store with a big range. Price match has never been a problem and a few faulty items were replaced without fuss. Staff are hit and miss, have found post covid a bit of a backward step with helpfulness.

We ordered stock online and when we went to collect, it was not there despite us being told it was. The staff created a major issue as we had to get the refund sorted for our business. This took over a month despite us calling multiple times. The manager did not do his job properly. I would never shop here again!

Asked to use bathroom and was told they were broken I then asked the shop assistant how long ago they were closed her answer was over a week ago NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Girl on Thursday blondish hair kind of short around 5pm working in print and copy was helpful and printed out my documents with no problems. She also helped me work the photo machines as I'm getting old and needed extra assistance. She was very kind and patient with me and had great customer service! I highly recommend that you use her more often, she's a superstar!

Self service is a nightmare and there are not enough staff serving people. One person is serving a line of 10 people. Waiting in line forever is not fun for customers. Hopeless.

DON'T GO HERE IF YOUR DISABLED! MANAGER DIDN'T WANT TO HELP!

Currently on crutches after getting out of hospital after a series injury. I needed to get a passport photo but only to staff at the photocopy desk so was lining up for nearly half an hour. Even tho there was a massive que, other staff where ether walking around or chatting, no one came over to ask the customers if there was anything they could help with.

After waiting nearly 30 mins and being in pain I got to the counter for the staff to say there machine is broken! The thing is there was no sign to say this over the sign they have advertising this service. If staff had come to the big line of people to ask if they could have help with anything then I would have been able to also find out this without waiting 30mins!

I asked to see a manager and when he came over he didnt seem to care and just blamed it on lack of staff trained and a COVID outbreak even tho there was staff there just walking around!

There was over 10 people in that line and not one staff came over to see if they could help with anything.

Really bad customer service and not great telling a customer there us a covid outbreak instore!

A lot of staff around to help, and they were very attentive and knowledgeable with there products. Nicola was especially helpful and showed great customer service. Also this store is only one of four office Works to have its own special arts and craft section, so if your after art supplies than this store in Fitzroy would be right up your alley

Not enough car parking - avoid coming at busy times if you’re driving.
If printing self-service photos, bring them on a USB drive - half the kiosks are out of order, and transferring them wirelessly from your phone is a huge pain in the a***, requiring you to download an app, and then trying to connect to the kiosk, which may or may not work. Feels like 2002, not 2022.

Just wanted to send a shoutout to some staff members here. Simon is a fantastic manager, he was knowledgeable and friendly and made every effort to help me send a phone off for repair and provide a loaner phone. Secondly, Roxy was so nice to talk to while I waited for everything to be done, and she was so professional to all the other customers she served. A big future ahead I think
