The souvlakis are made with such care. I watched the older lady make it and she takes her time and makes it with love. The chips are fantastic and the fish is delicious.little bit pricey but it's yum

When your customer service is so rude and poor, your product needs to exceptional. Food was average and certainly didn't make up for the service.

We order a souvlaki wow the chicken and lamb all the trimmings amazing, fish potatoe cakes chip cooked beautifully.

Ordered a souvlaki and got charged $16 for meat that was so hard I couldn’t even chew. Definitely won’t be going back!

2nd time we’ve got fish and chips from here and it’s spot on. I’m fussy with fish n chips as I grew up in NZ and it’s hard to find a good fish n chip shop. We live in Clyde and I’ve tried fish n chips from all around Berwick Cranbourne and Clyde, I can honestly say this place is the closest I can get to a NZ fish n chip shop. Elderly gent and elderly lady are very polite, not sure who wrote these other reviews, stating they’ve been rude is not our experience with these guys. Anyway decide for yourself, keep up the good work!

Love this place! The couple that run this shop are lovely and they give you lots of chips! Their chips are soooo perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They get the salt level perfect each time too! The fish I always order is the gummy one and it’s so juicy and delicious! Never dry. This place is definitely our go-to fish & chip shop! Highly recommend

Waited 1hr for some chips and 3 burgers only for everything to be cold. Absolutely no care in the world. Ask how much longer and you get ignored. Owners are so rude. Never again will I give this place my business nor will I be referring them to friends. Put a call to the shop for Angelo to yell at me so I hung up. If you want your business to thrive you need to learn respect, listen to the customer and not make them wait over an hour.

Went in the other day and it was fairly busy; witnessed the so called owner degrade one of the workers. Not sure what goes on in there but that was extremely hard to watch and most likely humiliating to do in front of customers and I hope that their okay. Food was ehh… edible in a sense… mostly just soggy and oily.idk man ur better off else where tbh

Yo this fish and chip shop is very underrated. A nice calm vibe with the menu having reasonable prices ngl, the food came fairly quick, wrapped with quality. The two staff members were chill as. Reccommend this to everyone.

Writing this review while I’m waiting for my order. I was so hungry and there was no food places open in eve central so decided to go to this off the boat chippery. I’ve ordered medium chips which was $9, and the old lady said minimum eftpos is $10. There was nothing else I needed and she said that she can’t charge a service fee therefore she’ll have to charge $10. So, I’ve changed the chips to large one which is $13.50 thinking that I will enjoy some hot chips.after I finished paying she goes to me chips doesn’t come with sauce. Sauce is 30 cents each. I told the lady at the beginning I don’t have any cash. So how I’m supposed to pay for sauce 30 cents by card. When I asked her “ you could have told me at the beginning it doesn’t come with sauce and it’s 30cents I would’ve buy sauce until I reach the minimum eftpos limit she started to argue with me said I’m a smart one and started to be rude. She was so rude and said “ nothing comes free, u have to buy ur own sauce, I don’t get anything for free blah blah.then how about she’s trying to charge me a $1 for free. ($1 is nothing but she doesn’t deserve it) when I asked for refund she refused it and didn’t even said sorry. What a rude old lady. Worst place ever. No smile, no customer service. If u don’t know how to do business then don’t do it. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I don’t know how they got 5. May b they paid for people to review them

First time I ordered from here, pleasant experience. Went back for a second time, ordered some snapper and some extras and there were a total of 13 bones in the snapper. Rang the store and the old fella there told me I don't know what I'm talking about, there are always 4 to 5 bones he can't do anything about it and was all round rude to deal with. I'm sorry but what fish and chip store allows bones in there fish. In NZ and with any fish and chip store you should be able to chomp into your meal without a care in the world. I didn't give you one star because your other items are a fairly tasty treat but I won't be back after that conversation.

Very rude both the old lady and the gent on taking orders and handling customers. Need some fresh blood to run the shop.

Disappointed is a understatement.

Watching our order been prepared, I had to question the two blokes and ask if that's how they cook all the fish and chips. Both said "yes that's normal"

Now I don't normally leave reviews, but in all honesty my bloody dog wouldn't eat the burnt "fish and chips"
We tried to eat but honestly, I'd rather chew on wet tanbark from the park. Food was revolting. The fish I could have used as a hammer to peg the fly on the tent.

Biggest waste of $30 this year so far.

Great food!
Hamburgers, flake, potato cakes, dim sims and chips are always good.
The batter used is traditional style so is not greasy.
The hamburgers are traditional fish n chip style, so are full of flavour and leave you feeling like you’ve had a meal.
Definitely worth trying out.

Supporting local businesses during this challenging times, we ordered by phone a couple of different fish, a variety of souvlaki, potato cakes and minimum chips to feed a hungry mob for dinner. By the time we got there, the piping hot orders are almost ready and wrapped up quickly.

So bad ordered food and they were rude and gave horrible customer service and the food was soggy never order from here

The food is always fresh and hot and the staff are so incredibly kind and very safe when it comes to the handling and preparation of the gluten-free food.

For a first time customer I wasn't impressed with the snapper that I ordered. It was very dry with bones. I paid for snapper but it wasn't snapper. Disappointed.

The best gluten free fish and chips that we have tried! Amazing customer service also.
