Best fish and chips we have had in a very very long time. Highly recommend! Great service, friendly staff and amazing food!

Good food but i would suggest not to take orders you can't fulfil to the time you tell the customers to collect, waiting 1hr 45 minutes when told to return within an hour isn't acceptable

Food tastes good, although service took a very long time. It's a takeaway fish and chips shop that took 30 minutes to serve during dinner on a Saturday weekend, so you better not be rushing anywhere when getting food from here.

The stand-out I would say is the flake, the fish tastes amazing and just as you would expect from a top quality fish & chips place.
The chips are alright, I personally prefer the crispier chips that are cooked a bit longer but given they were under huge pressure to speed up its understandable.
The other bits included in the pack for 2 are decent. The scallops are not bouncy as many other shops would have it. The crab sticks are great but the calamari is slightly chewy. Paid 42 dollars for the pack, which is on the expensive side. Prawns are juicy and delicious.
Overall I think this place really needs to step up on the speed without lowering their quality. As for you, get the flake.

I placed an order and they forgot my flake. Drove all the way back to the rental house, found no flake, rang them and they wanted to argue with me about the order I placed. I ordered flake, then my husband ordered a grilled flake and she changed my order. NOT HAPPY

Perfectly fine. A tad on the expensive side, but comes with the territory. Flake was delicious.

Great variety of fish, chips and burgers. My kids tell me the burgers are ‘the best’- but all their food is fresh, well cooked and delicious. The wait can be long so order early

Absolutely disgusted by this place, I’m not one to do this…. But from the second I unwrapped the food there were things missing, even though the order was read back to me! …we paid for the goods didn’t receive them and what was in there was not edible…. Rubber calamari rings couldn’t eat them, reheated 1 week old potato cakes, flakes that just tasted too fishy, chips that tasted like oil, as mentioned earlier no scallops!
We paid good money for the food and received garbage…. If I could give them 0 stars I would…so disappointed was really looking forward to it.

Really nice fish and ships. They were slightly overcooked but overall it was pretty good quality. Service is friendly and although the wait was a bit longer than anticipated, we are in unanticipated times.

Great fish and chips. Potato Cakes ok. Great that you can grab an alcoholic beverage to go as well. Can be a bit of a wait in summer but the staff try hard to keep you in the loop.

We stayed in ocean grove for a week in January and ate here 5 times, best fish and chips I’ve ever had, the flake is so good, great friendly staff, had to wait an hour for our order on the Saturday which was exactly how long they said it would be the wait time is understandable given the quality of the food, I would have waited 2 hours for it, can’t fault this place.

The service was very friendly. We waited a while but was expected as it was quite busy.
Food was tasty BUT i can only give a 2 star rating due to the fact that your lamb souvlaki was more than half full of lettuce and minimal amount of meat. It was that bad that if we had eaten there i would have asked for my money back. Not worth the $13 and its a shame because apart from this we liked this place

Fresh, tasty and hot fish and chips. Extremely busy and my order still came out quickly. Great experience

Ordered takeaway and the order was missing the prawns. Went back and they new of the error, cooked me fresh prawns with extras and refunded the prawn charge. Great customer service. Very popular and busy business. Highly recommend visiting.

Excellent service, better than Barwon heads fish and chips place, cheaper and open later hours too! Grateful to have found this place

Got dinner for the family and everyone was happy with the food.
I personally found the fish nicely cooked.

At the time of ordering we were told it was a 25 minute wait which we were okay with.
We waited an hour and a half and asked several times after 45 minutes how much longer our order would be to be told it would only be another 5 minutes again and again.
The family sat at the table across from us were also waiting an hour and a half.
An honest wait time from the get go would of made the experience very different.
The quality of the food was not worth the wait and neither was the price.
Judging by previous responses to negative reviews, this review won't be taken seriously either.

Delicious fish and chips, always loved the food here. Mum and dad were here from the UK recently too and they even said it was the best fish and chips they had eaten in a while.

Great fish and chips! Really enjoyed it. Just a heads up - on the super busy days (peak summer) the wait time can be up to an hour - so place your order early!
