Was in a tricky situation on a Friday afternoon and was relieved to hear that could book me in sameday so I wouldn't have to worry about a shattered back door with kids over the weekend.

Sadly half an hour later the tech called me to say reception never should have accepted the booking when they knew full well they didn't have an opening available.

To remedy the situation the tech offered to help me find someone else and if nothing could be done at least give me a discount if I wait until Monday.

Called through about 5 other glaziers myself and found a local guy who could do the job within 2 hours.

Best part was the price was HALF what O'Brien quoted and significantly less than the discount they promised for the stuffed up booking.

An excellent job done by the guys to fix up and schedule a replacement windscreen on my work van. Very quick response and quality of the work. Polite and professional team to deal with. Thanks for the great work.

My windscreen was recently replaced by Windscreens O’Brien.initially, they came out and realised that they had the wrong windscreen. After a phone call and some reassurance that I’d be OK (I had a 30cm long crack that inevitably became 40cm) they came out the following week with the correct windscreen. I was really happy with the service I received and happy with the quality of the job.

Double the price of everyone else. If you have it covered in insurance that's fine but out of your own pocket. Not so much.

Took a month and a half to get the job done, also using another contractor to get it done for them. Would never choose this company if I had any other choices. Too bad.

So far the experience is terrible! I have talked to Chris form call center. He would not listen, wont be interested in knowing whats been discussed and agreed up on to by O'Brien! Not even courteous to acknowledge the inconvenience! It was very unpleasant experience dealing with you Chris. The others at least are courteous but not efficient. At this point I would recommend my friends to steer away from it. Will have to wait and see how the actual service is going to be!

Was quoted $1700 for the rear windows on my I load. Another glass repair service did the job for $440 with a life time guarantee.
Shop around people.

For the assessment the guy was two hours late.

For the window repair the guy was two hours early.

I suppose they work on an average rather than the quoted time range.

The new glass remains in place, however I have since trodden on countless pieces of broken glass he dropped on the ground.

I am not using the service again and will not be recommending it to anyone.

This review is about the driver culture at O'Brien Tullamarine, Their drivers lack courtesy and assume right of way over other vehicles in the area. Today the driver of 1HR4WS cut into moving traffic without any acknowledgment to the fact I nearly hit him. He proceeded to waddle along McGregors Dr until he reached Wright Rd where he decided to stop in the middle of the road to double park and have a chat with his colleague in truck ZEX360. I beeped as I drove past, and that was enough to instigate a mouthful of profanities by an over-sensitive older driver in truck 1HR4WS.

I will not be calling O'Brien to replace any glass in my office or home any time soon.
